Would you like to give someone a bit of encouragement or thank someone for something? We have quick and easy way for you to drop someone a note. We have encouragement & thank you cards on the table in the lobby which you can take and write short note. You can then leave it in their church mailbox, hand it to them, or even “secretly” tuck it in their Bible or purse.

Life-Change Resource Anger, Anxiety and Fear: A Biblical Perspective

by Stuart Scott, B.A., M.Div. ThM., D.Min. Our responsibility as Christians is to depend on God as we work toward becoming more like Jesus every day. Often, there are life-dominating sins that greatly hinder us from becoming more like Him. As the challenges of living in an uncertain world increase, the sins of anger, anxiety and fear come up more frequently in our daily lives. We need to be on guard against these sins and know how to

deal with temptation when it comes. Dr. Stuart Scott is currently serving as Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Master’s University (Santa Clarita, CA); adjunct professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY). He formerly served as an associate pastor at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, and as an associate professor at The Master’s College and Seminary.

Thanks for helping out!

Dear McCoy Family, I can't say how many times over the years I've repeated to the Lord my gratitude that He placed me in the McCoy Fellowship where His love and teachings are actively lived out by His people, and where His word is cherished, protected and faithfully taught.

Recently, as Jay and i have both been "set aside" with our respective health issues, we are humbled and blessed by the many calls and cards expressing concern and promises of on-going prayers in our behalf. We appreciate you all so much and thank you for being the Lord's faithful servants ---- and our "Forever Family" in Him.

Lovingly, Linda & Jay Shaffer
