Experiential Learning:Dispelling Stereotypes
Activity DirectionsBuild the Wall…
• The Trip Leader will reveala descriptor to the group.
• Brainstorms stereotypes.
• Repeat until a wall is built.
…Then Tear it Down
• Dispel each stereotype by sharing an example or experience.
• As a Reflection Group, identify the 3 descriptors that generated the most discussion or were the most challenging to dispel.Be ready to share these descriptors with the entire team.
