Welcome to Park Church!
Park Church is equipped with the Hearing Loop System. This system is compatible
with hearing aids that have a T Coil setting. If you do not have a compatible hearing
aid, please contact an usher for a receiver.
Join us following worship, in the Atrium, for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
Join us next Sunday morning for our multi-generational celebration of Christ-
mas! The choir, orchestra and children will present the Christmas Cantata, “Let the
Whole World Sing”. Since the birth of Christ, the gospel message has spread across
the globe to a world that continues to shrink as communication technology expands.
Christmas is now celebrated in more than 160 countries, by people as diverse as the
cultures in which they live. Yet despite our many differences, we celebrate the sea-
son united as one kingdom of believers. The hope for peace on earth is shared by
millions of people in every corner of the globe. We join them in spirit, song, and scrip-
ture as we celebrate Christ!
Missionaries Boxes are available in the Atrium for Christmas cards for the mis-
sionaries that can receive them. Please feel free to include notes along with your
cards. The Mission Committee will mail the cards tomorrow, December 12.
Pastoral Search Committee met on Thursday, December 1, and discussed
several resumes and pastoral profiles that they had received and reviewed. They also
have been listening to sermons of pastors who have passed the resume check part
of the process. It's exciting for the committee to see where God has brought them so
far and how He is working through this process. Please continue to pray for wisdom
and guidance for the committee and for the pastor whom God will call to our congre-
gation.
Park 2Gether Potluck will be held next Sunday, December 18, at 11:15 a.m. If
you come with 3 or more of you, please bring 2 large dishes to share; 2 or less,
please bring 1 large dish to share. Coffee, water, and paper products will be provid-
ed. Come and spend time with your Park Church family and enjoy great food!

er during this Christmas season! All women cancer survivors are welcome!

WORSHIP
We are a community of faith responding to God’s
redeeming love through authentic worship, trans-
formed lives, and lifelong service.
OUR VISION
Park Prayers
Kaye Vermeulen will meet with her doctor tomorrow, undergo
radiation on Tuesday for spots in her head, and begin a series of
chemo treatments on Wednesday. Please continue praying for
relief from pain, for effective treatments, and for no side effects.
Please remember Joe in prayer as he provides care and support
to Kaye during the treatments.
Ray Vanden Akker has been a patient in Holland hospital with
severe hip pain. Pray that the doctors can determine the cause of
the pain and that Ray will be able to return home soon.
Mary Kool recently underwent a bone scan and the results indi-
cate there has been no spread of cancer! Give thanks and praise
to God for this wonderful report.
This week the Park Church family will pray for the families of Josh
and Sara Van Lente, Harry and Donna Van Munster, Pete and
Kate Vance, and Jeff and Vicky Meyer with Crosswinds Commu-
nity Church.
Call our prayer line at 335-6177.
Park Church seeks to encourage worshippers to come into the
presence of the living God with wonder and awe, that we will
glorify Him, learn from Him, devote ourselves to Him,
and leave equipped to serve Him.
