TODAY - Discovering Your Calling Dr Tan Soo-Inn (Graceworks) Have you discovered the “heavenly importance” of your “earthly” work? How can you discover your calling so that you can serve God faithfully in this key area of life.

Saturday Seminar by Dr Tan Soo-Inn

Date: 24 September 2016 Time: 9.30am – 1.15pm Venue: BFEC Cost: $10 (materials & light refreshments) Is there some specific work that God has called us to do? And if it is yes, how do we go about finding out what our calling is? This is a question that we confront when we start our working lives. But it is a question that returns at various points of our life.

This seminar is aimed at helping followers of Jesus understand the whole subject of calling with practical exercises to help them discover their calling. The end goal of this seminar is to empower believers to follow Christ by being faithful to their callings. Sign up with Seow Cheng ([email protected]) or online at http://bit.ly/findyourcalling2016

Next Sermon Series: Dare to be a Daniel, Dare to Stand Alone We live in rapidly changing and challenging times. New norms & rules have made it difficult to discern right from wrong. On the other hand, violence perpetrated in the name of extreme religion has become a normal pattern. It is a frightening world & a reminder that the end of the world is perhaps not very far away. In such a perplexing time the lives of Daniel & his friends remind us that Christians are the bearers of a counter-cultural message & life-style. Do we dare to be a Daniel, & so bear testimony to the presence of another kingdom, one which will be ultimately victorious, God’s kingdom of light & love?
