If you are giving some thought to selling your home, we would like to share some tips on how to show your home at its best. A little effort now could net you tens of thousands of dollars. The first consideration is to recognize that “agents and buyers only know what they see, not the way its going to be.” Thus, it behooves you not to put your best appearance forward right at the beginning! This starts with the outside of the home. When we work with a buyer we recommend that they do a drive by of the house to ensure the property and surroundings appeal to them. Their first impression is based, of course, on the outside of the house and grounds. Are the shrubs trimmed, grass cut, weeds pulled and leaves raked? Is the home well-painted, clean and fresh looking? Is there clutter around the house—garbage cans, recycling boxes, tools, etc? Presuming buyers get a good first impression from the outside, the next impression is based on the experience they have inside the home. If you have a pet, ensure it is kept clean and that you minimize pet odours. This is the number one issue that puts buyers off. Is everything clean, neat, clutter-free, and tidy? Remember, “you can’t sell it if you can’t see it”! Does your home look well cared for, bright, open and spacious? For more details on how to best prepare your home for sale, visit our website’s homepage at www.robertnemish.com and click on the two reports: “How to Show Your Home At Its Best”, and “Staging your Home For Sale”. Enjoy yourself. It's later than you think. ~Chinese Proverb

Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite.

Or waiting around for Friday night or waiting perhaps for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil or a better break
