All are invited to attend a Family Holy Hour on Tuesday, May 15 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm in church to spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and pray in thanksgiving for a successful school year! School Notes Representatives from First State Bank Nebraska visited Sacred Heart last week. They gave a brief presentation to our fourth grade class about the importance of saving money and gave each of the kids a goodie bag that included a piggy bank, backpack, and some cool shades. First State Bank Nebraska also made a generous dona-tion to support our students and all the good work happening at our school. We are grateful for their commitment to our students! Blue Mass—the annual “Blue Mass” will be held at St. Mary Church, Thursday, May 17 at 9:45 am. For Bishop Conley’s 10th Anniversary of Episcopal Ordination

In thanksgiving to God for the ten years of episcopal leadership, Bishop James D. Conley, will be presented a spiritual bouquet on his 10th anniversary. Bishop Conley was ordained a bishop on May 30, 2008, at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Denver, CO. The anniversary cele-bration will be held at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ on Wednesday, May 30. If you would like to add your spiritual offerings, please let us know what you plan to do. Some suggestions are, praying one or more of the following: an Our Father, a Hail Mary, a Glory Be, a Ro-sary, a Divine Chaplet, a special sacrifice, a Holy Hour, a Holy Mass or any other spiritual bouquet. You may email your bouquet (list) to [email protected] or put it in an envelope marked “Spiritual Bouquet” and place it in the collection basket. We will add up each category and send the totals to the Chancery as our gift from Sacred Heart. Deadline is May 20th.
