Several key factors distinguish our school:

Personalized Education – We develop a graduation plan focused on each student’s unique academic needs, goals, and interest for success in school and beyond

Flexibility – Students have the flexibility in how they learn throughout the day. Students may advance quickly doing several lessons in the same course or spend more time on challenging subjects or topics of interest

Teachers and Academic Coaches – Our teachers are California-credentialed and trained to use online technology and instructional data to provide each student a personalized education. Teachers conduct subject-specific instructional labs and offer students small group and one-to-one assistance while our specially trained academic coaches provide targeted support to reduce skill gaps and ensure students complete their coursework and develop strong work habits

School Program Overview

Blended Learning is combining the best of online education with traditional, onsite schooling practices

• We offer courses in the core subjects of math, English, history, and science as well as AP and Honors courses

• Student’s use K12’s award-winning comprehensive online curriculum

• We offer a robust catalog of electives for our high school students not available in other schools, such as Chinese, Game Design, Digital Arts, Personal Finance and more

• Everything that students need to be successful is provided at the school, including dedicated computer workstations for the online component, and textbooks, novels, science equipment, math manipulatives and art supplies for the non-virtual component

What is Blended Learning?

Core values are the guiding principles that dictate behavior and action. By implementing core values, they can help our students decide what is right from wrong and put them on the right path for creating better life choices

Sub TitleAny California student who will be in grades 6-12 and who can also attend class five days a week at the Silicon Valley Flex Academy school site in Morgan Hill may apply

Who should attend?

Students must earn 200 credits in grades 9-12 to receive a Silicon Valley Flex Academy High School diploma as follows:

√ English – 40 credits√ Math 30 credits√ Science – 30 credits√ Social Science – 30 credits√ World Language – 20 credits√ **Fine Arts – 10 credits√ College Prep – 10 credits√ Electives – 30 credits

Silicon Valley Flex Academy’s graduation requirements fulfill University of California and California State University admission requirements

**PLEASE NOTE: Our Fine Arts Program is taught via concurrent enrollment with a local college for UC approval and admission requirements

Graduation Requirements
