Welcome to the 77th Bike Week at the World's Most FamousBeach! I want to thank the Iron Horse for the awesome cover,Seminole Harley-Davidson for the centerfold, and Russ Brown forthe back cover. Without you guys, we don't exist. Moving ondown the line – there are a lot of places to go, things to see, vendors, motorcycles, bike shows, and more, so let's get started!Start off with Tropical Tattoo's Chopper Time Show. Don't bringthe kids! The money raised goes to the Veterans Support Group.Check out the artists, stay out of tents, trailers and kitchens. This is a sterile studio with great artists!I want to thank Steve Spoons for all the beautiful models heprovides for us. And if you need your bike photographed, get intouch with him. He will be more than happy to help you out.Women's Ride World Record – We need 1133 ladies to make a world record! Come on girls! See the ad in the book for all the info.Check out the vendors – there is a list of some of our vendors...$50 Dyno Run, Big B Leather, (pick up some leather for those cold rides), 2Good2Toss – they are across from Cabbage Patch.A nice little ride down the road is the Foxhead Lounge. This is a Sunday stop for all the locals. They have $1.75 Bloody Marys during Bike Week and live music! Great food, too.Debria's Designs – awesome jewelry. Makes a nice present. Veteran owned, too. Lo-cated at the Boot Hill Saloon store.Heading north is Hidden Treasure Raw Bar and Grill. They have Razorbacks, Big Engine and more. Great location. Come right up A1A and go back another way for a scenic ride. It's called the Loop – see the map included in the Guide.Skip's Boots – directly across the street from the finish line at the Speedway. You've got to see this place! It is the biggest Western outfitter in the nation (at least I think so). They have a pick-em-up truck and all kinds of cool stuff – sunglasses, belts, hats, boots and more. Also, they have a Western Bar!Seminole Harley-Davidson – a short ride for a big amount of savings on that new Harley. Don't be fooled by Bike Week specials. Take a 30 minute drive and go to Seminole. They've got the best prices and great deals to get those knees in the breeze. Great en-tertanment, vendors, etc. throughout the week. Check the schedule for events.Cabbage Patch has coleslaw wrestling on the 14th and 17th at noon! Also, they have Battle of the Baggers and the Ride-in Bike Show. Check the schedule of events. And $2 Bud and Bud Light. 4 stages of live music!Broken Spoke Saloon – yeah, Baby! Hairball and Uncle Kracker just to name a few. They've got Bike Shows, Rat Rods and other events throughout the day.Iron Horse Saloon – Brian Howe, Cold Hard Cash, Confederate Railroad – just to men-tion a few! And David Allen Coe at 4pm every day.On down to Main Street Station. What a line-up! Saliva, Big Engine, The Living Deads, and the Cherry Bombs and more. Also, Miss Tito USA Bikini Contest.Beaver Bar – home of the $2 beer. They have a $5 Sunday Breakfast, too. Great music with a laid back atmosphere. Grab a rocker and sit a spell.Over by the Speedway you'll find Bad Ass Bullets. Bring your bike over for free instal-lation.If you are looking for a great Blues Band locally in this area check out Big Rick and the Troublemakers.Twisted Tea – check out the new bike they are giving away this year. See their ad for complete details and look for Billy and Tank throughout the Rally! If you have an accident – bummer. We hope you don't need them, but if you do, call Russ Brown and they will help you out and get you on the road again.Check out DaytonaBikeWeek.com livestreaming on Main Street.I want to say to my friends who took care of me in Sturgis – a million thank yous to Matt and Arika for taking care of Fuzz. I can't thank you enough. I want to thank Dory and Anne Marie Solomon – a million thank yous is not enough. I am looking forward to seeing you on my Birthday! Thanks to Linda for just about everything, Mike and the wonderful art and layout; Paul for the sales and general all around help; and Thunder for the unique maps. Thanks go to Steve Spoons for the great photography, and to Hank and Jane for getting me out on time! This is very important, please tell every advertiser that you saw them in the Pocket Guide®. If you want to place an ad with us, visit BikersPocketGuide.com for more infor-mation, or just give us a call!In closing - my usual speech. Don’t be draggin’ and revving your pipes, ‘cause you’ll get a ticket and free room and board. If you’ve had too much to drink, park your bike and get a taxi home. Think before you drink. Don’t leave your drinks unattended. It’s not the bartender’s job to babysit your drinks. Take care of your bartenders and servers. They work real hard to make your vacation unforgettable. Have a safe and great Bike Week!

Remember – rubber side down, shiny side up.

PS - Lots of love to Ronnie and Robin. ~ Ron Martin
