Our Sunday School Philosophy One of the guidelines at the CRC Sunday School is that the stories, themes and activities which children experience in our program should make sense in real life — their lives in our community. Many of our lessons incorporate discussions and activities that foster a sense of church family and social responsibility. Whenever appropriate, we explore our individual abilities to contribute to important efforts at home, church and school. That’s exactly why we encourage parents to share their perspectives. Clarkstown Reformed Church Adult Choir

Did you know that music is good for your health? Singing is not only good for you physi-cally but the mental, emotional and spiritual benefits are also numerous. Some choir members have been involved for

over 60 years and some for only a few months. Every age group, from 20’s to 80’s, is represented in our membership. We enjoy singing many kinds and styles of music and we hope to continue to bring even more variety to the congregation as we work together. I would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to join us or just come to a rehearsal to see what it’s like. We rehearse on Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. in the Disciples’ Room. You are welcome whether you read music or if you don’t. Either way, you will fit right in.
