Leon VinciDirector of Public Health, Johnson County Health Department
About the Guest Speaker:
Mr. Vinci earned a bachelor of arts degree from Wesleyan University and a Masters in Public Health from Yale University. He received his Doctorate in Health Administration (DHA) from Medical University of South Carolina. He has been a member of the faculty at Yale University, WesleyanUniversity, Southern Connecticut State University, the University of Connecticut, and the University of Nebraska (Omaha).
During his career, Vinci has served as a consultant to the US Department of Health and Human Services, the US Environmental Protection Agency, and the World Health Organization, and has served as a representative of the US Conference of Local Health Officers as an expert witness for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
