International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN)

InOMN is an annual, worldwide event that encourages observation, appreciation, and understanding of our moon.
The Louisville Public Library is hosting a moon-watching event with the Longmont Astronomical Society at Meadows Park.
Maker Program

Enjoy the company of others as you color printed designs. Bring your own coloring book and pencils, or supplies will be provided.

3D Modeling Open Lab SUN, Oct. 9, 23 1-3PM
Learn how to create 3D models with the help of a volunteer, then reserve a time to print it on our Lulzbot Mini 3D printer. Bring your own laptop or reserve one of ours. All ages. No reservations required.
Maker Program
Using GarageBand, this class will focus on how to connect a recording interface (TASCAM 4x4) to GarageBand in order to plug in guitar/bass and a microphone. Learn how to set up a click or drum track, build guitar, bass, and keyboard tracks, and finish a song with vocals. No experience with recording necessary. Experience with an instrument preferred.
This program is for ages 14 & up. Space is limited; please register.

The Irlen Method is a piece of the puzzle that helps individuals regain lost capacities resulting from concussions, brain injuries, dyslexia, AD/HD, Autism, learning disabilities, and other perceptual problems. Approximately 45% of individuals with learning disabilities and 15% of the general population have Irlen Syndrome. Learn about treatment options with special lenses for glasses or contacts. Presenter Marcia Klump, MA, SEP, BCST, is a body-centered psychotherapist and craniosacral therapist
practicing in the Boulder area.

Celebrate the season with stories from many cultures, after hours in the Louisville Public Library. Boulder Valley Spellbinders® volunteer storytellers will offer spooky stories, in the campfire-lit night. This free event is after-hours, so enter through the patio, from the north parking lot adjacent to the Library.

Historic Walking Tour Louisville’s Frenchtown
Neighborhood
In keeping with the Museum’s exploration of Louisville’s French history this year, Diane Marino leads this tour of the historic Frenchtown neighborhood located in the vicinity of Rex and Parkview Streets, just north of Community Park. The tour leaves at 9:30AM from the Tri-City Elks Lodge at 525 Main Street.
