This is the last call for T-shirts before we put in the only order for

the year!

We now have a bin for the Eco-Phone Project! When you drop (not

literally) something into the bin, put a tally next to your name on

the Eco-Phone Sheet.

Reflect on Greyhound The Greyhound Project went great! Although most people signed up for only

one shift, almost everyone stayed for the whole thing!

The people at sun and Fun appreciated our help tremendously and gave us cookies!

Although Jesus did not wake us up, every aspect of the project went great except for no shows...

Ovals Of Shame We had four members who signed

up for Greyhound and did not show up (GASP!)

Person of the Month: Clara Barton

Clara Barton (1821-1912)

Clara Barton began teaching when the civil War broke out (she was only 15 or 16)

Inspired by the war and her visit to England where she came across the International Red Cross, Barton started the American chapter of the Red Cross in 1881

Naturally, Barton became the President of the ARC

She retired in 1904 at the age of 83!

You can turn in 5 cans for 1 hour, with a maximum of 5 hours.

If you turned them into your first period, you can get your teacher to sign saying that you did turn them in.
