Welcome to the second concert of our 2020-21
Season
We acknowledge that we live, work, and make music on on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish People. Specifically, the music for this concert was recorded on the land of the
Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-waututh), and xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
We ask you to acknowledge the land that you are on, and to recognize that acknowledgement is merely the beginning; we must all commit to
active efforts towards reconciliation.

Vox Panacea Pippa AndrewVox Panacea Director This summer, Phoenix started a new outreach
project: an online choir for treble-voiced physicians! Over 30 doctors have been meeting weekly on Zoom with director Pippa Andrews to
work on a variety of music and musicianship exercises, and will be sharing 2 pieces in this
concert.
The program has now concluded its third session and we look forward to two more sessions in early 2021: January to March, and March to May. For more information about this choir, please email

Give the Gift of Music
It is no secret that this year has been particularly challenging for small arts organizations like ours. Phoenix has been able to give the gift of music to the Metro Vancouver community for nearly 40 years
now, because of the generosity of everyday individuals like you. Each dollar given at the end of 2020 will allow us to continue to
share with you for decades more.

Become a Phoenix Founder
We want to invite you to continue to make experiences like these possible again in years to come, by partnering with Phoenix in giving, specifically, as a
Phoenix Founder.
Phoenix Founders are everyday folks who believe in the joy of music so strongly that they choose to give to Phoenix each month. A gift of $10 per month or $100 per month: every dollar matters. The impact of a consistent gift is immeasurable.
Plus, there are perks (think: new recordings, concert tickets!) in it for you.
