Waunakee Community Cares Coalition and the Waunakee Community School Districtinvite parents & community members to join them for a "Town Hall" meeting to raiseawareness of the ongoing drug abuse epidemic. The meeting will feature speaker &founder of Amalia's Hope, Brigette Henschel, who will share her story, discuss theincreased use and effects of opiates abuse, addiction treatments and the recoveryprocess. Bridgette will present to the High School students at an assembly earlier in theday; the evening conversation will be focused toward parents and community members.A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
