The UIC Advantage Life Admissions

Residential College ·As freshmen at UIC, students will reside in the newly-built

Yonsei International Campus (YIC). Students will live with professors

in residential houses and participate in holistic education programs

that provide opportunities in arts, sports, and community service

beyond the classroom.

·After the first year, students in the Underwood Field take courses at the

Sinchon Campus, while students from the Humanities, Arts, and

Social Sciences and Integrated Science and Engineering Fields continue

to take major courses at YIC.

Student Clubs·UIC sponsors a number of student clubs to give students opportunities

to gather and engage in activities outside the classroom.

Student club activities are a great way to make friends and take part in

the rich student life that is a major part of the UIC experience.

market and gain admission to top international graduate programs.

UIC Forums and LecturesThe Underwood Global Forum hosts distinguished international scholars

from a variety of academic fields, providing UIC students with an

opportunity to engage in discussions with internationally acclaimed

scholars. In addition, Career Lecture Series are held throughout the

semester, with experts and professionals from various fields giving career-

oriented lectures on a broad range of topics.

Global Career TourGlobal Career Tours provide students the opportunity to visit companies

and talk directly to corporate recruiters and professionals from a diverse

range of industries. Students are able to enhance their understanding of

the international job market and receive guidance in planning their future

careers. We have visited companies in Hong Kong, London, New York,
