Welcome to Ward 33 Surgery

Hello my name is Kate O'Hara , I am your Ward Manager

We look after patients with variuos conditions but Ward 33 Surgery specialises in colorectal care. We care for both men and women on the ward in 4 or 6 bedded single sex bays. Each bay has its own bathroom. The ward also has some single rooms, allocated on clinical need, each with ensuite facilities.

To improve the patient experience... We are currently working to improve pressure area care in the ward and our actions are successfully reducing the incidence of pressure areas on the area. We are consistently working within the Trust values and focus on improving quality of care, embracing innovation to deliver enhanced productivity and improve services.
