How to Activate Your Handshake Account

1. Log into your Tiger Tracks account.

2. Go to “Online Services” and look for “Academic & Career Advising”. Click on

“Handshake”.

3. Login using your TigerNetID by clicking on the FHSU option.

4. You will see a welcome screen along with several check box options to click on

before starting the quiz.

5. Answer the questions related to your career interests. This is important in order for

Handshake to feed your profile with relevant career and internship information. *This can be edited in the future if your career interests change.

3. Make your profile public or private. You can switch your privacy status at any time by

going to “Settings & Privacy” and checking the appropriate box.

4. Explore Handshake. Use the search bar to find jobs and internships, register for events,

and schedule appointments with Career Services staff.
