TRANSLATIONAL USE IN THE HOUSEHOLD.

Session Workshop Description Introduction Learn more about the workshops and to get to know each other better.
1 Sharing Tools and Finding what works: Learn about the tools that we use in our programs.
2 Thoughts, Feelings and Behaviors: What we think and feel often impact how we act. We will share ways
in which you can support your children and yourself by developing a positive mindset.
3 Emotions & Everyday Life: Emotions play an important role in how we behave and interact with others.
We will share effective ways to understand and manage emotions.
4 Destress with Success: Stress often gets in the way and can impact our well-being and health. In this
session we will share how to manage stress effectively.
5 Creating Safety with your Loved Ones: Safety is very important for children and relationships. We will
explore the different types of safety beyond physical safety.
6 Handling Loss: Loss is a part of every day life, however sometimes losses can prevent us from moving on.
We will learn how to manage and redefine loss.
7 Creating Goals & Envisioning a Positive Future: We will end our last session by looking ahead and
setting goals which support each individual’s future.
