this month. Join us at 10 AM, Thursday, the 14th in the Library. This month’s book is titled, “Angels Walking” by Karen Kingsbury. For questions, please see our church librarian, Bonnie Tilford.
Women’s Bible Study > Starts
Tuesday, January 12th at 10 AM. The series, “Chosen and Cherished: Becoming the Bride of Christ” will focus on how the wedding customs and traditions of Biblical times symbolize the ultimate marriage of Christ. Cost is $4.50 for the first 20 to sign up! Check your tear off and see Ruth Polgreen for questions.
Happy Hearts Luncheon > Wednesday, January 13th at 11:45 AM. Help us welcome in the New Year with great fellowship with friends. Guest Speaker, Gail Keeling. To help off-set cost, suggested donation of $3 is appreciated. Check the tear-off in your bulletin and write the number attending. Please RSVP by January 11th.
Outreach > B1 > Be engaged and
impact the world for Jesus Christ through Outreach. We resume this month. Right now we meet the 2nd and 4th Monday at 7 PM and the 2nd Tuesday at 2 PM but subject to change to accommodate when the majority is available. Please check your tear-off in your bulletin if you are interested in joining this ministry.

at 6:30 PM. Ages 3 to 5th grade are ready to jump back in. Join us January 6th for an energetic worship, group games, and take-home family resources you’re sure to get wrapped up in!

9th at First Baptist Church Mt. Dora. Mark your calendars for this great event emphasizing purity. Check out your bulletin next week for more details or see Clint and Amanda Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights.
Valentine’s Day Dinner > Save the
Date – Feb. 13th - hosted by our Youth ministry. Tickets are $10 per person and will be available beginning Jan 6th. Menu and further details will be in your bulletin. Contact Clint and Amanda or the Church office for questions.
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering > Because Of Who He Is > Southern
Baptist churches collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for the sole purpose of supporting international missions. This year we collected $5.765! – With the GIBC Mission match of $5,100 – we are sending $10,865 to international missions! That is awesome!!!! Thank you for your generous giving!

Life’s Choices of Lake County. Mark your calendars for March 12th as we "Walk for Life".
Church Bowling > begins Tuesday at
6:30 PM – Break Point Alley in Tavares. A 9-week season ending March 2nd. Cost is $7 per person/night and includes: 3 games, shoe rental, and prizes. See your bulletin tear-off to sign up. For questions related to our recreation ministry contact Mark Hawkins.
