EPFO Introduced Online submission of singlereturn for each month since April, 2012.
After implementation of ECR, Employer hasbeen submitting single Return electronicallywith monthly contributions of members,along with enrolment details and exitmember details.
Employer need not to submit monthly/yearlyreturns physically to office.
Contributions are credited into the member’saccount on monthly basis.
Digitization of complete database of EPFsubscribers and allotment of UniversalAccount Number (UAN) to each of them forportability of their accounts on change of jobor location.
Collecting of Form 11(Revised) from newlyappointed employees .
Allotment of new UAN for those who gotemployment for the first time and linking ofprevious UAN for those who were previouslyemployed and already have UAN.
Dissemination of UAN among the members.
Seeding of UAN with bank account, Aadhar Card and other KYC details for financial inclusion.
Members can access PF accounts online withreal-time updates.
Members can view and print accountstatements multiple times without anyemployer intervention.

Establishments can register online with EPFOthrough OLRE portal submitting the details ofestablishment & employees.
Online Transfer Claims Portal has beenlaunched to facilitate transfer of member’saccounts, once they change their job/location.
EPFO made Digital Signature Certificatemandatory to approve the details whilesubmitting the Establishment information inOLRE portal
To link KYC documents with member’s UAN

EPFO has made mandatory to remit ProvidentFund dues through Internet Banking.
EPFO has enhanced the statutory wage ceilinglimit from Rs.6,500/- to Rs. 15,000/- witheffect from the date 01st September, 2014.
EPFO introduced first time a minimumpension of Rs. 1,000/- (One thousandrupees) per month with effect from01/09/2014.
Monthly pension including relief amount isless than Rs.1000/-, minimum pensionRs.1000/- will be paid to (1)Membersuperannuated at age 58, (2) Widow Pension,(3) Nominee, (4) Dependent Parent & (5)Disabled member pension.
The benefit under this been enhanced frommaximum of Rs. 3,60,000/- to Rs. 6,00,000/with effect from 24th May, 2016.
EPFO making 99% payments to the membersthrough electronically via NEFT
Employers are requested to forward the Claimforms with correct full Bank Account Numberalong with IFSC code of the Bank Branch ofmember/beneficiary bank account for speedycrediting in correct account.
Jeevan Pramaan is computergenerated digital lifecertificate for pensioner.
Jeevan Pramaan Certificate isproduced for individualpensioner using his BiometricCredentials.

Pensioner needs to know andprovide his/her Name,Aadhaar Number, PPONumber, Bank Accountnumber and Bank Namebranch detail, Mobile Number.

100% payments to pensions are being madeelectronically through the use of COREbanking platform of banks through whichpensions are being paid.
EPFO, decided to launch a special campaignfrom 01.01.2017 to 31.03.2017 to enroll leftout eligible workers for bringing them underthe social security umbrella of EPFO.
The campaign seeks to enroll employees whoworked with the establishment between 01-04-2009 and 31-12-2016 and who could notbe enrolled due to any reason.
The declaration scheme is operationalbetween January 1st 2017 to March 31st2017
Salient features as under:
The employee’s share of contribution ifdeclared by the employer as not deducted,shall stand waived.
The damages to be paid by the employer inrespect of the employees for whomdeclaration has been made under thiscampaign shall be at the rate of Rupee 1(one)per annum.
No administrative charges shall be collectedfrom the employer in respect of thecontribution made under the declaration.
A declaration can be made under shall becollected from the employer in respect of thecontribution made under the the Campaignfor the period for which no inquiry undersection 7A has been initiated
The Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana(PMRPY) Scheme has been designed toincetivise employers for generation of newemployment, where Government of India willbe paying the 8.33% EPS contribution of theemployer for the new employment for aperiod of 3 years.
In the case of textile (apparel) sector, theemployers are also eligible to get the 3.67%EPF contribution paid by the Government asmentioned in the PMRPY on-line form underPradhan Mantri Paridhan Rojgar ProtsahanYojana (PMPRPY).
This scheme has a dual benefit, where, on theone hand, the employer is incentivised forincreasing the employment base of workersin the establishment, and on the other hand,a large number of workers will find jobs insuch establishments.
Pre conditions:
All Establishments registered with EPFO canapply for availing benefits.
Establishments should have LIN allotted tothem under Shram Suvidha Portal
Employee should have a valid Aadhar linkedUAN and wages less than Rs.15000/-
Benefits for Textile sector Establishmentswith NIC codes 1410 and 1430.
Registration on PMRPY portal mandatory toavail benefits.
