Tulsa Tech’s welding classes provide training opportunities to develop skills for entry and advancement in this lucrative field. From part-time, evening and weekend classes to a comprehensive two-year program, we offer many options to fit your needs and busy schedule. FULL-TIME CAREER TRAINING OPTIONS: Welding Fabricator – this career major is for individuals who want fast- paced specialized training to make a quick entry into the welding workforce. This program provides training for GMAW and FCAW* welding processes. Basic skills in blueprint reading, math, layout design, fit up, and cutting processes will be covered as well as proper safety practices. You will learn how to weld on structural building materials and plate. See chart below for session times and locations. Combination Welder – this program provides comprehensive training for all welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW*). Basic skills in blueprint reading, math, layout design, fit up, and cutting processes will be covered as well as proper safety practices. You will learn to weld on various materials such as steel, aluminum, and pipe. See chart below for session times and locations.
