Leeds Bradford airport is about an hoursdrive away.

    Malton and Norton have excellent amenities including localshops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Malton Stationconnects directly to York and Leeds on the Scarborough toLiverpool line. Traditionally Malton has always been knownfor its many racing stables and now in recent years it is alsoknown for its food events, regular markets and a cookery school.

    There are primary and secondary schools in the towns and acommunity hospital. Terrington Hall Prep School is 9.9 milesaway, and Ampleforth College with its prep school St Martinsis 15.9 miles away.
