Congratulations!

Thank you for acquiring a WENCIA watch!Swiss WENCIA watches are crafted in sterling silver, and designed in line with the latest fashion trends.

The history of the brand began in 1937 in Switzer-land, when the founder of the family manufacture, Mr. Oscar Wenger, registered the trademark WENCIA. Since then, for more than 70 years, the brand solely be-longs to the family Wenger.

WENCIA Jewelry Watches are handmade, conceived in the tradition of Swiss Haute Horlogerie. Wencia manufacture always pay great attention to details in the finishing and craftmanship of their watches.

To keep your watch functionning flawlessly for many years, we advise you to follow the recommendations in this manual.

WENCIA quartz watches benefit from the incomparable precision of quartz. Their power reserve usually enables them to operate for more than 2 years in continuous use. All you have to do is to set the time, and occasionally also the date if your watch is equipped with a display of this kind (please refer to the section of «Settings»).

E.O.L. (End of Life) function

Once it has been used up, the battery should be replaced without delay. If the seconds hand jumps every 4 seconds, this indicates that the battery has reached the end of its useful life and should be replaced in the very near future.

WENCIA jewelry watches should be worn and used with care. We would advise you to clean your watch regularly (except for the leather strap) using WENCIA silver polishing cloth. Do not leave it anywhere where it might be subjected to major variations in temperature or humidity, in direct sunlight or near strong magnetic fields. After immersion in water, it is highly recom-mended to bring your watch to authorized WENCIA dealer for control. If you plan not to wear your watch for several weeks or months, we would advise you to pull out the crown. This will stop the watch. Doing so, it will substantially reduce power consumption of your Renata Swiss battery.

USEFUL INFORMATION CARE & MAINTENANCE

We recommend that you contact an approved WENCIA representative or dealer, as they are equipped with the tools required to carry out the work and the necessary checks in a professional manner. A worn-out battery should be replaced immediately in order to reduce the risk of leakage and consequent damage to the movement.

Types of batteries used in WENCIA watches:

Renata 362, 364, 373, 384, 395

Temperature

Do not expose your watch to sudden changes in temperature, or expose to extreme heat or cool (above 60 °C or below 0 °C).

Magnetic fields

Do not expose your watch to strong magnetic field, for example, do not leave the watch near the Hi-fi speakers, mobile phones, computers, refrigerators and other appliances that generate electromagnetic fields.
