Dear College and University Official(s),
It is with great pleasure that I greet you on behalf of the Western Hills High School family of students, parents, faculty and staff! We have a diverse student body hailing from all neighborhoods in Cincinnati, although most of our families live on the West-side of the city where the school is located. Our mission at Western Hills High School is to prepare our students to compete in a global economy by preparing them to enter into a two or four year college of their choice or enter into the world of work.
Our dedicated teachers and staff engage our students in a curriculum that promotes high learning standards and utilizes the latest 21st Century technology. Our students have many opportunities to experience and to gain knowledge from rich academic dif-ferentiated instruction. We enjoy Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment classes, as well as Academically Advanced classes for underclassmen.
In addition to high academic learning standards, Western Hills offers a comprehensive sports program, after school programs and clubs. Our Fine Arts Program provides a forum for students to showcase other talents they bring to the school community. We also enjoy the partnership of our Community Learning Center which provides a plethora of services to our school.
Western Hills High School is striving to build a learning community that values every child’s contribution. We aim to create a caring and nurturing group of learners, who will bring their talents and thirst for knowledge to enhance your academic landscape.
Sincerely,
D. Kenneth Jump Principal
