WESTERVILLE SUNRISE ROTARY CLUB 04/22/2020 Due to Governor DeWine closing all restaurants, and the increased request for everyone to avoid public interaction, we will be cancelling our weekly Westerville Sunrise Rotary Meetings until further notice. At this point no one knows for sure how long this will last or until we are out of danger of Spreading the Corona Virus. We will let everyone know via email when we will resume the meetings. This is an unprecedented time for our community and nation. I strongly urge that everyone stay away from public interaction as much as possible so we all can stay healthy and get through the next few weeks or few months. Doubling our Giving Power Sunrise Rotary has given $3000 toward the District 6690 Matching Program to fund twelve different Food Banks

in Ohio. Our contribution plus the District’s $3000 match meant that a total of $6000 was sent to fund our local Mid-Ohio Food Bank which is a leading resource of

food items for WARM.

2020 Race Cancelled

Although we have announced the cancellation, Mike Herron is checking into the potential for a virtual run/walk. Details to come.

Westerville Sunrise is committed to continuing our important recognition event. However, current indications are that it may not yet be safe in May to amass large groups. We are currently exploring other ideas. Please watch for news on this to come in the next few weeks.
