I am the world's largest land predator. As a male, I may grow 10 feet and weigh over 1400 pounds. As a female I can reach 7 feet and weigh 650 pounds. I have wide front paws with slightly webbed toes that help me swim.

I am called snowy because of my coloring. I am almost pure white. I have incredible vision and I can see good at night. I have wings and can fly.

I like to live in shallow water by ice floes or land. I have tusks, whiskers and make a loud low pitched growling or barking sound.

I'm hard to see in the snow. I have a thick white coat of fur for the winter. In the summer my coat is brownish-gray. I do not hibernate during the winter. I can run quickly.

I have small ears and have claws on my front feet for digging in hard-packed snow. My feet are thickly padded with fur. When alarmed, I rise on my hind legs to look for danger and then bound off very quickly. I can reach speeds of 40 miles per hour.
