Institutional and Course Entrance Requirements found on the VTAC website: www.vtac.
1. Minimum Tertiary Entrance Requirements –
Satisfactory completion of both the VCE and Units 3 & 4
English (any). Some institutions may accept Senior VCAL.
2. Prerequisite Studies – specific VCE studies that must be
completed.
3. Extra Requirements – in addition to VCE studies, activities
that must be completed to ensure eligibility for a course (e.g.
presentation of a folio, pre-selection test, form or interview).
4. Check Subject Bonuses – some universities offer bonus points
for completion of certain subjects and/or attainment of certain
grades.
Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS)
1. Personal Information and Location; Under-represented school, mature age, First in Family, Gender, Non-English speaking. (Everyone should apply for this)
2. Financial Disadvantage – Centrelink Benefits, Family Tax Benefits, financial stress.
3. Medical or disability.
4. Difficult Circumstances – Family breakdown, illness/death in the family, natural disaster.

JuneRegister for UMAT by 5 pm (AEST) on 1 June 2018 (https://umat.acer.edu.au/)
July Undertake UMAT on 25 July 2018.

0MUST check on the VTAC website or directly with the University to check if the UMAT is a prerequisite.
0 The test is not based on learned academic curriculum or study of particular subjects, but as a test of your response to stimulus that will not necessarily be familiar.
