Why I went on vacation

• To relax• To read a book other than “pat the

bunny”• To eat well• To exercise without seeing a

stroller in front of me

The benefits of vacationing with your family

• Getting a home-cooked meal by someone other than myself

• Sleeping in and not feeling guilty because my mom offered

• Having someone baby ME

Achieving my vision

• Read and napped when the baby napped. Or when he was awake.

• Took walks on the beach• Dessert every night. With hot

fudge sauce if possible.• Delegated whenever possible.

Results

• Gained a few pounds• Got some rest• Wore my mother out• Made my legs sore• Got halfway through the “Diana

Chronicles” (highly recommend it)

Next Steps

• Find a way to do it again. Soon.• How?

• By either quitting my job for the summer

• Using up all my vacation days
