IV Sedation Dentistry

What is it?IV Sedation is a substance used

to help patients relax during treatment.  We safely

administer it through an intravenous (IV) line.  We can

easily monitor and adjust medicine during the procedure.  

You'll be in a sleep-like state.

You'll stay responsive during care.

You'll feel completely comfortable.

Benefits

Sedation can make it feel like less time has passed.

Sedation can dull the senses during

dental treatments.

Sedation allows you to relax during dental treatments.

Sedation helps you visit the dentist more

Sedating a patient is normally a very safe

procedure.  It's even safe for children.  We may

recommend it for patients who are especially young or nervous.  Parents can also help reduce the risks and stress level for their child before, during and
