What is the Kyoto Treaty?

The Kyoto Treaty is a contract that propose the nations to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.

The treaty was proposed in 1997, at Kyoto, Japan.

The agreement needs to be signed by countries responsible for at least 55% of the world's carbon.
