What we did in class today: Tuesday Sept. 11, 2012
•Metrics review of tools, units, definitions and conversions.
•I’ll show you the class folder that I’ll use for your work and introduce the evaluation rubrics.
•We’ll watch a video clip (4min) on the metric system and you’ll answer 4 questions. Two of
those questions will be on Friday’s Metrics, Safety and Scientific Method Topic Assessment.
•You’ll create a chart with a walk around activity that will be a metrics study guide for the
remainder of the year.
Use the signs around the room to complete your chart. Do not leave anything out. Copy completely. Remember the codes.
