The Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia’s world-famous boulevard, is turning one hundred this year. The 14-month, city-wide celebration kicks off on September 8. We’re participating with Pay What You Wish admission starting at 4:00 p.m. and special Friday Night programming.

How can we collectively reimagine our futures? Moving from the city to the Museum, join us as Philadelphia Assembled (PHLA) collaborators transform the first floor of the Perelman Building into a civic stage where the city is performed.
Admission to the Perelman Building will be Pay What You Wish for the duration of the exhibition.

Philadelphia Assembled began in late April as a series of activities and actions across the city that aimed to illuminate and amplify a broad set of hopes, visions, and questions about Philadelphia and its future. The participatory installation in the Perelman Building is the culmination of this collective project.

Old Masters Now: Celebrating the Johnson CollectionOpens Nov 3 Dorrance Galleries
In 1917, the most famous lawyer of his day left his astonishing trove of European art to the city of Philadelphia. One hundred years later, we’re taking a new look at one of this country’s most remarkable collections. Encounter treasures by the likes of Botticelli, Bosch, Titian, Rembrandt, and Monet—and see how art historians keep making new discoveries about the collection.
