    The Center of Excellence for Sustainability and the Office of Career Services invite you to attend the Green Careers Meeting

    Point that is going to take place during this years Sustainability Week with various Green Businesses. Come find us on this

    Thursday, April 4, at the DEREE Main Corridor from 14:00-15:30 to find out about the green career prospects that are opening

    up to you and the skills you must have to pursue them.

    Time to vote! Dont miss the open discussion with this years candidates for President and Vice President to find out about their platform

    and what they plan on doing if elected! The open discussion will take place April 2 during the Activity Hour in the Student Lounge to

    address student body questions and concerns!

    Elections will be held April 3 and 4, 09:00 to 18:00 in the main corridor. Eligible voters include any DEREE student registered for at least onecourse.

    be flying in from Europe and the US to join us. Each representative will be available for mini info sessions and to discuss with

    DEREE students what study abroad opportunities and options are currently being offered.

    STUDY ABROAD PARTNER REPRESENTATIVES ON CAMPUS!

    Dimitris Politis will set off on his 800 kilometer journey from Thessaloniki to Athens on April 6 in

    support of the ACG Scholarship Fund. Before pedaling off, he will visit DEREE for a meet and

    greet in the Student Lounge on Tuesday, April 2nd, 13:40-14:00! Show your support by

    attending his success relies on our support! Mr. Politis finds success in people working

    together: My personal commitment in terms of time and effort is a very small step in increasing

    awareness among the members of the ACG community of how important the Colleges

    financial aid program is to many students.

    When Dimitris Politis sets off on his 800-kilometer journey, he will be alone in the saddle, but

    not in his quest to raise funds for deserving students. We need all the help we can get from

    volunteers to build awareness and make the fund-raising drive a success.

    The second Sustainability Week organized by the Center of Excellence for Sustainability (CES) has officially begun! Join us

    from this Monday, April 1, until Saturday, April 6, to learn about Green Economy, Green Jobs and Education for Sustainability.

    We start off on Monday with various exhibitions at the DEREE Main Corridor and continue with the Opening Session, to finish

    the day with a Music Concert Green. Tuesday is devoted to Green Economy: A Way Forward and Wednesday continuing withGreen Economy and a New Citizenship. Thursday is all about Green Jobs and Green Careers and Friday will close up the circle

    with presentation on Education for Sustainability and a panel of politicians. For those who enjoy intense and adventurous

    activities, they can participate in the Rafting Trip at Lousios River on Saturday which is organized by the Office of Athletics.

    SUSTAINABILITY WEEK @ DEREE2013 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

    Intercollegiate Athletics: Although game season has wound down for Womens Volleyball and Basketball, our teams are still going

    strong. Practice sessions are continuing while the teams prepare for next seasons games as well as the challenge of the Bogazici 33rd

    International Sports Festin May where five DEREE teams will represent us in Turkey. Dont miss the Mens Soccer team C.S.L. game against

    Loumideson Wednesday, April 3rd at 20:00.

    Intramurals: The 13th Relay Marathon is fast approaching on Wednesday, April 10th. Form your team of ten runners or sign up as an

    individual runner and make history. Collectable t-shirts will be given to all participants. 5x5 soccer season has started with four games

    every Tuesday and Thursday during activity hour. If you are not on a team you can always share the action by supporting your favorite team

    from the bleachers. 3x3 coed Volleyball is coming up soon. 3-player teams of men and women will compete for the Gold medal. Canoe

    races in the Pool Thursday, April 11th

    ! Can you paddle fast enough? Outdoor Recreation:Coming up: Rafting trip to River Loussios, Saturday, April 6th. A great outdoor experience log it! A Rock climbing

    trip to Mt. Hymettus (Karavi climbing range) is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th. If you missed the first one dont miss this!

    other independent texts that were incorporated into the play during rehearsals and improvisations.
