Luxury meets functionality in this idyllic Surrey new build.
CASE STUDY
Finished to the finest standard throughout, the new build boasts a definitive Georgian influence and with over 80 Georgian style windows spread across the entirety of the property, it’s a perfect replication of a traditional country mansion from the famous and historic era.
From inception the key requirement for this particular project was to supply windows that create the appearance of an 18th century exterior whilst benefitting from the enhanced performance of a modern timber window. With this in mind PDS supplied an array of sympathetically designed quality products.
Whilst the new build has many distinguishing features, one element that was really valued by prospective buyers was the elegant refinement throughout. Harmonisation across the finish of each and every window and door was thought to be a key component in achieving this.
Ensuring the paint and furnishings used on your products are perfectly harmonised can be significantly undervalued by some suppliers, however PDS acknowledge the importance of this and realise it is essential to creating that immaculate finish giving your home a truly timeless feel.
As a result of manufacturing all of our products from one site in the UK, we are able to maintain a significant level of control over the finish of our products.

Elegantly restored manor house converted into luxury apartments.
Dating back to the late 18th century the recently converted manor house is naturally rich in character and authenticity. This historical appeal was considered a key attribute to the property and from inception was approached with great sensitivity.
Once work commenced the derelict manor was quickly transformed. The beautiful stone exterior was maintained, the surrounding grounds were given a new lease of life and a beautiful set of bespoke windows and gothic doorsets were installed throughout. Finished in an oak stain and furnished in Black Iron ironmongery, the joinery offers a distinctive feel of luxury whilst not distracting from the traditional feel of the building.
With such complex design requirements and restoration at the heart of the project the developer was confident in their decision to choose timber. PDS supplied a range of Timber Mortice and Tenon Doorsets and Casement Windows separated by mullions for added charm.
Seeing the product develop from being a raw material to a fully finished, functional product is very satisfying.

Kew Gardens
Stunning bungalow set within Kew Gardens undergoes tasteful renovation.
Extensive work goes into modernising the 3 bedroom Grade I listed home and diffusing the barrier between the homes carefully selected interior finishes and the picturesque greenery that surrounds the delightful property.
PDS has had ample experience renovating conservation properties and listed buildings, so were well equipped to accompany the contractor in taking on the project.
Timber was selected over alternative manufacturing materials due to its sympathetic qualities and the functional benefits it can offer in terms of durability, sustainability and design flexibility.
Whilst preserving and enhancing the property was a key decider as to what windows and doors were specified, it was also of high importance that the home retain as much natural light as possible in order to generate a bright and airy feel across the open plan space.
The products were finished to an exquisite standard and look perfectly in place in this well-appointed home.
The attention to detail we offer takes a nice home and makes it into a beautiful home.
