• Diagnoses stick• Treatment regimes- - - self sustaining• Dominant force is about repeat
prescribing
What does the evidence point to?
• ‘Anti depressants’
• Published and unpublished data: Drug/placebo effects
• No evidence that they correct partially or wholly any underlying biological abnormality
