Are all solar modules manufactured and tested the same way? No. At Sungrid we meet all certification standards and provide a level of quality control which goes well beyond these. This includes pre-assembly component checks, module assembly checks (Electroluminescence and Gel content tests), performance testing (Flash tests) and ongoing random module testing, all by our Australian Engineers within ISO 9001 rated facilities. This ensures that you get the quality and performance you expect and pay for.

Why are Sungrid solar modules value for money?Sungrid embraces a “best of field” approach to PV module components. This includes the use of high yield cells, high quality encapsulant, fully sealed junction boxes, crimped, anodised aluminium frames and premium ancillary materials. A zero tolerance approach on defectsAll Sungrid commissioned manufacturing facilities maintain internationally accredited quality assurance processes. This provides us, and our customers, with a high level of confidence in the quality of our products which is supported by our warranties. The length of the module warranty is a direct reflection of the confidence a producer has in its own product.

Sungrid provides technical support to its manufacturers and assesses all component supplies, manufacturing processes and facilitates the strictest of quality control programmes.

Manufacturing Tests:

• 100% Electroluminescence (EL) Test: to check for non-visible micro cracks and other cell defects.

Australian based scientific tests are performed with the support of the School of Engineering and Energy at Murdoch University for technical knowledge development.
