events across the U.S. and Canada. The winners square off in one electric weekend in Orlando, Florida.

GET UP. GET AMPED. GET QUALIFIED.

To make it to Orlando, you have to qualify first. Qualifying Round

events are being held across the U.S. and Canada. Each event is a

race against the clock to complete a task using IDEAL tools. The

fastest times in every state/territory advance to the Championship

Weekend. The events are open to Professionals, Students/Apprentices,

and teams (three individual electricians from one company or school).

INDIVIDUALS

The Professional and Student/Apprentice with the fastest times in

each state/territory, will advance to the Championship Weekend.

In addition, the top three individual competitors from 2017 will

be returning for their chance to defend their title.

And new for 2018, there will be 24 Wild Card slots available for

the 12 fastest individuals (Professional and Student/Apprentice)

across North America who do not win their state/territory bid. In

addition, 2nd and 3rd place finishers of each state/territory will

receive $500 or $250 IDEALcash, respectively.

TEAMS

The top five Professional and Student/Apprentice teams from

the U.S. and the top Professional and Student/Apprentice team

from Canada will advance to the Championship Weekend.

THE WEEKEND IS FUN. THE COMPETITION IS FIERCE.

67 individual Professionals, 67 individual Student/Apprentices, six Professional teams, and six Student/Apprentice

teams will advance to Orlando for a weekend they won’t soon forget. While travel, lodging and meals are all

provided by IDEAL Electrical, competitors have to bring their own “A” game to get through four rounds of

competition. These tasks are tough.
