GOD'S PROVISION & PROMISES

Dear Friends,

When we walk this life with Christ as the center of our world we tend to forget that withouthim we may feel like a butterfly that has a life span of 8 months and no purpose... aMonarch butterfly can fly across 3000 miles to get to its destination, seemingly such afragile creature, yet stamina beyond imagination. It has a purpose and it knows without adoubt it must take that trip!

When we walk with God He gives us the courage to make our journey despite thedistance, detours and struggles! When we know HE is aware of every single detail in ourlife for us to make the journey, it certainly helps us along our journey! He provides thedesire and ability without our fear, anxiety or panic about how it will work out. He knowsthe destination and will get us there! We can get in the way of the details as we worryabout what to do, how we will get there or who we will need help from. His journey for youis already planned to perfection! The key is learning to trust HIM and let him lead the way.We must continually release and surrender the worry, LET GO of the anxiety and lean inon His promises! If we want His promises, we need to trust His process and His timing.It’s about surrendering and letting go of our human impulse to “figure it out”; to “know”without a doubt we can trust His perfect plan without always understanding it!

“Yet You, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work ofyour hand.” (Isaiah 64:8)

Let go of I or ME and fix our eyes on Jesus when in a struggle or dealing with pain.Embrace the lesson through suffering each time, knowing His great love for you and theprayers He hears will be answered in His will and His way for you. As soon as we take thefirst step to turn to Him, God can show us His provision in every step! When we submit toHim and lay down our human assessments and assumptions we can find relief andhealing. The beauty of the Lord’s provision IS that it is never ending. Challenges with

health, relationships and finances are ways perhaps, He is drawing you nearer or using thesituation to comfort another person. Remember, He uses pain to develop character andendurance (Romans 5:3-5). Character then strengthens our confident hope of salvation asthis hope does not lead to disappointment. Do not depend on your own understanding(Proverbs 3:5) as you develop a deeper TRUST in HIM, His pure and perfect love takesroot.. so eventually producing long-term fruit is His eternal gift for you. “The fruit of theSpirit” (Galations 5:22-23) will happen on your journey. Embrace it.

Be proud of who you are in your identity in Christ! The challenges are not always justabout us, as He is powerfully at work in it all. He designed you with a purpose and a plan,as He walks alongside you during long-suffering and joyful times.He will help us to wrestlewell between two gardens (this life) until we return to the garden of Eden. (Revelation21:4) Won’t you let Jesus be the fulfillment of your longing? For He is your Tree of Life.Rest in His promises…for know you are deeply LOVED by God.

We want God to take away our painyet He can use our suffering forGod's will to develop ourcharacter. Think of it as a holyexchange which builds our faithstronger.

Dear Lord,Help me to know that disappointment willbring meaning, eventually. Pain willbuild my faith and I remember yourvictory at the cross. Amen.

A PRAYER FROM THE HEART

When in my prayer time, my Heavenly Father hears mypetitions, which often include, help me Lord with difficultsituations & relationships, instill in me the importance ofan obedient life, for the cleansing of my soul. He’s soloving to forgive all things!! (1 John 1:9) I request daily,for correction in my life and for a spirit of desperation forme to seek areas of my life which need change. As Ihumbly ask, I am forgiven of all wrong doings and I amthankful and assured of a life with no condemnation orguilt! I live free from me and free from those who try toplace rejection or condemnation on me - I thank God forteaching me that I can’t feel rejection from a person who didn’t create me - they simply donot understand their created value, so I ask God to help me share with others to see theircreated value so they don’t have to feel less and condemn others. While in my prayercloset, I give thanks for a multitude of gifts and ask, please God allow opportunity for me

to be instrumental in a bright future for my children & grandchildren! I ask, my sweet Jesusto place goals and aspirations in my heart.

My Heavenly Father will awaken my dreams and desires, He frees my mind then fills myHEART with things that are pure, honorable, lovely and good! (Philippians4:8). I pray thatHe will give me courage & I will reach out to loved ones who do not know the good newsor who are sick and need care. Setting my mind on things above (Colossians 3:2) andsurrendering my HEART is always powerful.

This closeness I experience daily is more valuable than I can imagine, giving me courage,strength, love, and to live the abundant life! Steady my HEART… as I wait upon you oh,LORD.

Scoop Ministries, Inc. has assisted 122women and 7 organizations to date since

2008, for a total of $45,304.68.

The "Flavors of Hope" program provides financialsupport to local women who may be in a short-termcrisis.

CPFSJ offers & gives valuable resource information to women in need. If awoman in need meets SMI guidelines, only then will CPFSJ staff screen andreview a completed SMI grant application and will make or not make arecommendation to the SMI board. Janette Koslosky will then speak with theapplicant on behalf of SMI to assess her situation. Board approval is needed toadminister grant.
