White Christmas – Fact of Fiction? Task Cards: Teacher Notes and Student Cards The following task cards are provided to help facilitate student progress through the digital learning experience. Pages 2 – 4 include an abbreviated version of the task cards for the teacher’s reference. Tasks are written in terms relative to project goals. Pages 5 – 15 include the student task cards. Tasks are written in terms that students will understand. These task cards will be used throughout the three week digital learning experience. To help the task cards remain usable for the unit, print the task cards on card stock and/or laminate each page. Note: The term “read to the camera” is found on several student task cards. This means that the anchors and commercial actors should look at the camera while they are reading their scripts, rather than looking down at the piece of paper. If you are fortunate enough to have an extra computer and display that can serve as a teleprompter, that would be a nice addition to the experience!
