WHITELIONFOCUS FOR IMPACT
PLAN2019
Beginning July 2018 Whitelionembarked on a transformational
journey, appointing new ChiefExecutive Officer Hang Vo.
We have made unquestionably tough decisionsthat will create a sustainable base from which
Whitelion can generate greater impact.
Why focusfor impact
With the support of the board, executive and Co-Founder Mark Watt, Whitelion has analysed where wecan have the most impact, what it is that we do best,
and importantly, how to become financially sustainable.
We have determined that we cannotachieve our goals and be financially
sustainable if we remain in everycurrent activity and location. We are
acting today to ensure we can have thegreatest impact on the issues facing at
risk young people now, and in thefuture.
How Whitelion willfocus for impact
To focus on direct service delivery for at risk youngpeople, Whitelion will no longer deliver prevention
programs and will exit our Victorian socialenterprises. We are sad to announce that we are
also closing our Tasmanian operations.
The changes will be complete by 30 September2019.

A sincere, heartfelt thankyou to everyone who hassupported Whitelion in
Tasmania, with our Strideprevention programs andin our social enterprises
over many years.
This support has resulted in hundreds of younglives changed for the better.
Whitelion's decision to withdraw fromcertain areas of direct delivery as partof our Focus for Impact Plan does not
mean we do not deeply value andbelieve in the life changing work being
done in these programs.
