Currently, there are large barriers to entering into the cryptocurrency space.

The process of buying or selling crypto assets - and then trying to cash them out into fiat currency - is not a simple one. In fact, the act of trading and investing in cryptocurrencies still requires a certain degree of technical knowledge.

The crypto space poses a variety of risks in regards to the management of private keys and seeds, which can be easily misplaced, lost or stolen. Moreover, the countless KYC processes and account setups required by the exchanges create even more entry barriers. There is also the possibility of financial losses related to market volatility and crypto asset devaluation.

Monarch aims to address all these limitations. We have a team of some of the best and brightest minds in cryptocurrency and software development. We understand the issues and have the means to solve them.

We plan to create a platform that allows the user to add their bank account information into Monarch, allowing the purchase of crypto assets solely from the Monarch platform. From Monarch, they would be able to buy or sell crypto assets, then transfer the fiat back into their bank account. We plan to create a password generation tool that will provide electronic storage of users’ private keys and passwords to all their crypto and non crypto sites or services.

We plan to integrate a recurring payments tool that will allow users to monitor, start, and stop all subscription services to places like Netflix, mortgage companies, utility bills, car payments, Amazon etc. All of this is made possible with a simple swipe of our mobile app.

We will use 10% of all token sale proceeds to back the value of Monarch Security Tokens with physical, verifiable silver assets. 10% of the transaction fees will also be used to purchase silver assets, ensuring that one day, with proper adoption, Monarch tokens will become a fully backed silver asset. This token system will help combat volatility or a worthless cryptocurrency.

Monarch is offering an extremely useful and free Minimum Viable Product (MVP) at the start of this endeavor. The MVP will be launched on the Apple Store and will consist of a mobile app that will allow cold storage of BTC, ETC and all ERC-20 Tokens. It will have a portfolio tracker and a news/events section to keep users up-to-date on the news and the status of all their crypto assets.

Using an easy to understand interface, the user will be able to control their everyday bills, services, subscriptions, passwords and trade crypto assets from a few swipes on their screen. We are bringing cryptocurrency to the masses.

Here’s how:

2017 was an outstanding year for cryptocurrency. Hundreds of projects had received funding, innovation was pushed to the limit, and a plethora of bright minds were attracted to the space. However, despite the surge of interest in blockchain technology, interfaces are still not simple and intuitive, the barrier to entry is still difficult for non-technical users/audience, and usability of most cryptocurrencies is still severely limited. In sum, cryptocurrency is still far from mass adoption.

Monarch is a revolutionary payment platform that enables users to “Be Their Own King,” providing a simple and easy-to-use bridge between consumers and merchants. It’s an all-encompassing tool that brings practical functionality to cryptocurrencies for real world usage.

Cryptocurrency complexities are a thing of the past. With the Monarch Platform, users will be able to store passwords, manage 2FA codes, cold storage wallet, manage cryptocurrency balances, manage private keys, and conduct traditional fiat payments. All from one simple application. The Monarch platform intends to connect to 3rd party exchanges (Binance, Bittrex, Coinbase, etc.) so that users can trade from all across all exchanges on one platform from one user-friendly application. Furthermore, Monarch will partner with exchanges in order to find the best possible buy and sell price among the seemingly countless exchange options.

Another deterrence from mass adoption of cryptocurrencies as a payment method is the constant volatility of cryptocurrencies. Initially, 10% of Monarch Security Token will be backed by silver, paid for by the proceeds generated from the Token Sale. Physical silver will be continuously bought using 10% of the transaction fees in the ecosystem until 1 ounce of silver backs each security token. The Monarch Hot Wallet ecosystem will continuously fund the Monarch Security Token with silver from 10% of the proceeds from transactions fees. An additional 50% of Monarch Hot Wallet transaction fees will be distributed proportionally to Monarch Security Token Holders.

Monarch utilizes a two token structure: the Monarch Security Token (MTS) and the Monarch Utility Token (MT). The Monarch Security Token allows holders to benefit from the token backing in physical silver and the distribution of dividends. The Monarch Utility Token is utilized as a transactional medium to optimize fee structure and payment remediation.

Features & Benefits:

Monarch allows users to see which subscriptions they are enrolled in. They will have access to manage (start, stop, modify) all subscriptions (examples ranging from Netflix, to Spotify, to your cell phone bill) from one platform, the Monarch mobile app. Monarch allows you to easily manage all your subscriptions with “one touch”, from one location.

Monarch Provides:

Identity Management: Use only one password for all services. Monarch will generate a new password for each service yet the user will only need to remember one password to access the Monarch platform. The user will be able to interact with all services that they are subscribed to for example (Amazon, their mortgage company, Netfix, etc.) All passwords used through the Monarch Platform will be retrievable both on-and-off chain if needed by the user.

Recurring Payments: Pay for subscription based services (recurring payments) in multiple currencies including fiat, and cryptocurrency. Set recurring payments peer-to-peer, consumer-to-business, or business-to-business (e.g. setup a recurring payment channel to pay your mother $40 each month for your cell phone bill, car payments, mortgages, Netflix, Spotify, etc)

Secure Wallet: Store funds in cold storage wallets so users will still own their own private keys. They’ll also have a hot wallet to manage their funds and pay for subscriptions. This will hold both fiat and cryptocurrency.

Exchange Transactions: Access Monarch’s exchange to purchase, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies at the best possible prices through exchange arbitrage.

Billing Adjustments: There will be simple On/Off Switches for all recurring payments. Users can track all recurring bills on a single screen, like a condensed version of QuickBooks for your cryptocurrency portfolio.

Subscriptions: Automatically enter new subscription contracts with Monarch’s service providers.

Easy User Experience: One-Swipe feature for all on/off switches will instantly cancel a subscription payment (i.e terminating your Netflix subscription) Monarch’s mobile platform will include all of the above services with the simplest user experience possible.

Why We need Monarch Token

Currently there are no easy-to-use methods to integrate a plug-and-play option for Merchants to accept cryptocurrency, and furthermore, cryptocurrency subscription payments. Current cryptocurrency payments lack robust functionality, an intuitive user experience, and an interface that allows for subscription payments. Monarch will provide suitable payment gateway solutions for merchants, which will be optimized to integrate cryptocurrency transactions.

Consumers and merchants both struggle with the core problem of cryptocurrency being a “push technology” (meaning every transaction must be made manually) and service usability of cryptocurrencies. The “Monarch Platform Plug-in” will allow merchants to have a seamless functioning payment solution to accept a variety of the most common cryptocurrencies available. The Monarch platform will be an all-encompassing solution to accept fiat and cryptocurrencies, with a specialized focus in customer management, subscription tier, and inventory management.

Consumers will have the luxury of their preferences being saved, multiple payment options, and a seamless checkout experience. In turn, merchants will have the customer logistics in place to manage their business.

Monarch Token VisionWe believe that the intricacies of cryptocurrency are the barrier to entry for widespread adoption. The security, privacy and speed of transactions of cryptocurrencies surmounts its traditional fiat counterpart. However, the complexities of blockchain technology and non-intuitive user interfaces keep novices from accepting cryptocurrencies as a form of payment. We believe current cryptocurrency payment platform options for both consumers and merchants are lacking critical features and functionality when compared to traditional fiat payment platforms.

At Monarch, our plan is to bridge the gap between the cryptocurrency space and traditional marketplace payment platforms. Monarch Wallet is an all-inclusive app that includes a cold wallet for proper storage of cryptocurrencies and a hot wallet for instant transactions and unique payment operability, such as subscription payment and installment plans. We want to bring blockchain adoption up-to-speed with an all-in-one user experience for all your payment and portfolio management needs.

Minimum Viable ProductIn order to achieve our goal in revolutionizing the payment industry, we knew it would be important to launch a usable product from the start. So, we designed a mobile app that functions as a cold storage wallet.

The Monarch mobile app, which will be available for free in iOS app stores (providing the approval of app by Apple) and desktop, allows users to store their Bitcoin, Ethereum, & a ERC20 tokens. It will also display news, keep track of all user’s assets, and allow users to send and receive payments in BTC & Ethereum (all ERC20 tokens included).

App updates will commence immediately after the Token Sale, beginning with price alerts and custom notifications.

Hot vs. Cold Wallet

Hot wallets are like checking accounts, whereas cold wallets are like savings accounts. As the name suggests, hot wallets are used for the everyday spending of cryptocurrencies and typically only hold small amounts of any token, very similar to real wallets that people keep with them on a day-to-day basis. Cold wallets, on the other hand, are used for long-term secure storage of cryptocurrencies and typically hold large amounts of money that are not intended to be touched very frequently. [10]

Monarch Cold Wallet• Available in the MVP during Token Generation Event• Offline secure storage for multiple cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, ERC20 tokens, NEO, NEP-5 tokens)• Monarch does not take a fee on deposits or withdrawals from the cold wallet

Monarch Hot Wallet• Linked to 3rd party exchanges • Enables recurring/Subscription-based payments• Integrated into Monarch Exchange• Free peer-to-peer transactions • Instant transactions • Compatible with Monarch Merchant Plugin • Receives users’ Monarch Security Token Dividend

The Problem: Auto-payment and Subscription Management services can be difficult to manage. Consumers get billed for renewals due to conditions buried in fine print with legalities that are difficult for the average consumer to understand. [1] If they’re not careful, consumers may spend money for years on a service before realizing that it is no longer utilized. In some instances, customers who are incapacitated will continue to be billed for subscription services which can lead to a huge financial detriment.[2] If a consumer wants to discontinue a service, they often have to follow a cumbersome process that involves remembering long-forgotten login credentials. It is a frustrating experience, particularly since each service requires independent and unique registrations and procedures.

Our Solution: With the Monarch application, management of subscription based services can be done from one platform. We aim to provide Monarch App for both iOS and Android systems.

The Monarch Hot Wallet allows users to make recurring and subscription based cryptocurrency payments. The patent pending process uses multi signature wallets to securely send recurring cryptocurrency payments. The user and Monarch both have half of a private key. The user may then lease the private key to Monarch under 3 stipulations of transactions. The 3 parameters are recipient, amount, and frequency of the transaction. For example, if a user wanted to send Netflix $10 a month in Bitcoin, the user would lease their half of the private key to Monarch to generate a transaction on their behalf after checking the 3 parameters. The smart contract would check for the recipient (Netflix), amount ($10), Frequency since last transaction (Every 30 days or the first of every month). If all 3 stipulations are met, Monarch will transfer funds out of the user’s wallet on their behalf. Any service, recurring payment, or subscription can be turned on or off (canceled) with a press of a button.

The Problem: Subscription Based Crypto Payments are currently unavailable as the software does not exist yet. Some merchants provide the ability to pay for goods and/or services in cryptocurrency, as one time payments. The goods or services are typically priced in a pegged fiat amount, and the appropriate amount of cryptocurrency is sent from the buyer at the time of transaction. The merchant’s cryptocurrency is then susceptible to volatility since it was based on the market value at the time of payment.

Our Solution: Monarch helps alleviates this issue. First, there is the ability to send and request payments on a scheduled basis using cryptocurrency. Monarch will allow a user to initiate a new “stream” to another user in the system, using just their username or the email they used to register with Monarch. Using this information, they may select the frequency for which they will be requesting payment (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly). After the request is sent, the receiving user will find the request in his or her Monarch app. The user will then authorize the scheduled payment by pressing “Authorize”. Payments will be sent until the selected service is shut off in the list of services or the funds are exhausted from the user’s hot wallet.

3. Subscription Based Crypto Payments

2. Monarch Password Vault

The Problem: Password Management is difficult when the average adult has 27 unique online logins.[3] The amount of unique passwords a user has is almost always lower than the amount of discreet logins they have. This is due to people using the same password multiple times, or a variation of a commonly used password. This helps explain why 37% of people forget a password at least once a week.[3] Furthermore, the number of online accounts people have to manage is only going to continue to increase.

Our Solution: Upon initial download of the app, Monarch requires you to write down or store a 12 word seed which allows the user to recover his/her password vault on a new device. (In later development phases the need to write down the seed will not be necessary. We will allow backup recovery using the encrypted meta data using the Monarch private sidechain). When registering for new services, Monarch automatically generates a random password using the maximum number of available characters specific to the service you are registering for. This process occurs when a user signs up for a new service through the Monarch app. Additionally, it cryptographically stores this password in our Password Vault on the blockchain. The passwords are always editable and recoverable through your 12 word seed.

Secure storage of both passwords and 2 factor authenticator keys are crucial for every cryptocurrency investor. The “Password Vault” facilitates the secure local storage of all your sensitive information.

The Problem: Registration of multiple services is repetitive and time consuming. Additionally, centrally storing this information poses a huge security threat. During 2017, one of the largest security breaches in history exposed over 140 million Americans, compromising their social security numbers, birth dates, addresses, and credit card information.[5] Many service providers ask for the same basic information that can be used to register for future accounts. Additionally, the cost of data acquisition for some accounts such as financial institutions is quite high. In 2017, firms deployed an average of 307 employees to process KYC information.[6]

Our Solution: Initially, Monarch will use familiar solutions to create an easy registration process. Similar to logging in with Facebook, Monarch will create a process that allows a user to easily sign up for new services, permitting only the data points the requesting company requires. In the future, Monarch will look to partner with identity verification blockchain solutions such as Ink Protocol, Bloom, Verime, Civic[7] and/or SelfKey,[8] who decentralize sensitive information related to identity and credit worthiness. Registration processes such as these will save time for the consumer, money for the service providers, while also providing security advantages for all involved parties.

5. ID Managment

4. Multi-Currency Support

The Problem: Multi-Currency support for both merchants and consumers is rising in popularity as several Fortune 500 companies have decided to support the adoption of cryptocurrencies.[4] The advent of cryptocurrencies has required many enthusiasts in the space to constantly shift between different currencies (fiat & cryptocurrencies included) in order to pay for services. Additionally, merchants have limited themselves by not giving customers the flexibility to pay in other cryptocurrencies. The volatility of cryptocurrencies has held merchants back from accepting these alternative forms of payment as well.

Our Solution: Monarch is combating some of the volatility of cryptocurrencies by allowing merchants to accept multiple currencies while receiving payments in whichever currency they desire (fiat included). Customers are able to pay for their favorite services using any currency the Monarch platform supports. Initially this will be Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monarch Token, and all ERC-20 tokens with many more to be supported in the future. Monarch will leverage external exchanges to provide the liquidity in the Monarch ecosystem. as the network grows, Monarch will work to create its own exchange to better manage liquidity and remove the need for 3rd party providers.

Example: A customer wants to pay for Netflix using Bitcoin, but Netflix does not accept Bitcoin. Using Monarch, Netflix could choose to accept this customer’s payment, and receive it in fiat (such as USD, etc) instead of Bitcoin. Netflix could also choose to keep the payment in BTC but would be susceptible to the volatility of cryptocurrency and would have to make this decision internally.

6. Financial Analytics & Tax Forms

The Problem: Financial analytics & tax forms can be difficult to reconcile, especially for cryptocurrency. More and more people are making payments in alternatives to fiat currencies. Blockchain technology has promoted increased transparency by making all transactions public on a shared ledger. One would think it would be easier than ever to provide users with the best analytics engines and tax reconciliation products. However, with payments being processed from so many different places and no current solution for managing subscriptions via cryptocurrency, there remain very few options available.

Our Solution: Monarch allows you to effortlessly manage your finances and taxes in one place. Monarch additionally shows you how money is being spent and allows users to import all their trades from partnered and 3rd party exchanges to create a tax report.

Blockchain technology allows for such processes to happen automatically and in real time. Additionally, immutability of the public ledger also creates the ability to conduct easier audits.

When registering for a new service, users will permit certain pieces of data to be obtained by the merchant. For example: email, password, first name, last name, and address. With a unique login and password combination for each service, subscription management can get hectic.

Real World Use CasesIn 2018, IT security experts recommend having a unique password for each and every account created, showing the need for a password manager. Every service will save the users payment information further increasing potential security risk exposure.

Managing all the user’s services is an arduous process.

By shifting to an all-inclusive, subscription-based payment processor, we can now enhance security, improve management of services, speed up the process of KYC registration, provide merchants additional payment options, and enable customers greater flexibility; all in a decentralized high-performance open network.

Problems:

• Unique/Common Logins • Password Management• Service/Payment Management of multiple Services• Security of Funds/Payment• Registration of multiple Services• Merchants unable to accept multiple currencies/Customers unable to pay in multiple currencies• Ease of use

Security:Password management has been an issue since the conception of online databasing and active directories. The number of logins the average internet user has to remember is staggering. A poll in 2016 by Intel Security determined the average adult has 27 unique logins, and unless the user is stricken by paranoia or considered a qualified IT Security Expert, they probably use the same password for a few of them. Having the same password for multiple services can create a huge security risk for any consumer. Even if the user has variants of a password (example: khaleesi1, khaleesi!, khaleesi$...) among several platforms, it may open the doors for potential hackers. If given a good enough starting point, modern computing and algorithms can brute force most passwords.

Time and time again we see negligence and IT protocols being overlooked for convenience. This is not only true for average consumers, but can be an embarrassing truth for many IT “professionals” in charge of these active directories and password databases. These security breaches can lead to catastrophic events, like the revelation of classified information, trade secrets, and identity theft. In 2017, a security breach on a credit reporting agency exposed 145.5 million people to potential identity theft.

Monarch mitigates these security issues utilizing a number of solutions. Modern Consumers keep forgetting their different passwords for their subscription services and cryptocurrency exchanges. Users now have to go through a lengthy and tedious password recovery process.

Page 15: WHITEPAPER3rd party exchanges (Binance, Bittrex, Coinbase, etc.) so that users can trade from all across all exchanges on one platform from one user-friendly application. Furthermore,

Problem Scenario 1

Problem Scenario 2

Solution:The Monarch Desktop Application contains the Monarch password vault. Consumers can now recover stored passwords for subscriptions and services by logging into The Monarch Application. The Monarch Application Password Vault is protected by two-factor authentication (2FA) on a users mobile device. However, on their mobile application, they must login with a password, pincode and 2FA or biosignature (fingerprint or facial recognition). This creates multiple security layers of authentication. The Monarch Password Vault also has a random password generator for storage of all new services and subscriptions they sign up for. A user has multiple subscription services they put on one credit card. The credit card becomes compromised as they notice a fraudulent transaction. They must now go through the lengthy process of changing their credit card for each subscribed service.

Solution:By adding a new subscription service on Monarch, the user creates a new service-specific Monarch address and an API Key.

Unique API • Unique API keys for subscriber payment• Each subscription service will get a unique API key (no single point of vulnerability)• If their API key is compromised for a specific service, they can always issue a new one, and retire the old one• Users may adjust the frequency and amounts that a service provider can issue as an invoice

Cold Wallet Currencies:

Accepted Currencies/Cryptocurrencies:• Bitcoin• Ethereum• All ERC-20 Tokens• Monarch Token (Monarch is an ERC-20 Token)• Many more to come!

More coins and tokens will be added over time. We will seek to add coins that have strong liquidity, usage, and credibility. We will also implement a voting system to help us decide which coin to support next. We also have plans to support fiat currencies.

Monarch will accept fiat in order to utilize the crypto-to-fiat trading pairs. Monarch accepts Bank Transfers, Electronic Money Transfers, and Wire Transfers into the Monarch “USD Wallet”. Once Users have fiat on the Monarch ecosystem, they will be able to trade fiat for cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrencies for fiat. Users will be able to withdraw and deposit fiat into the Monarch application.

Accepting cryptocurrencies as a small business can be a complex time-consuming process. Existing platforms lack a user-friendly interface. The lackluster features within current payment platforms are unable to handle the existing merchant needs of inventory, customer list management, and subscription tier management.

Monarch Merchant Plugins

Online businesses rely on Content Management Systems (CMS) solutions to operate an online storefront. Over 50% of all websites on the internet use a CMS, with the current market leader for online content management holding over 60% market share. 30% of all websites on the internet use WordPress as a Content Management System. The top payment gateways for WordPress managed websites such as Authorize.net, Stripe, Paypal and QuickPay all fail to accept cryptocurrencies.

The Monarch Merchant Plug-in will allow merchants to accept cryptocurrency, facilitate customer response, and manage subscription tiers on their websites. Users will have a seamless user experience that drives sales for the merchant, whether that be for a one-time purchase, payment plan, or subscriptions. The Monarch Merchant Plug-in will handle all user payment options using supported cryptocurrency or fiat. Monarch will charge merchants a flat 2% fee to use the merchant plugin.

With the Monarch Merchant Plug-in, merchants will have access to a completely integrated framework for the front end of their websites, which will open them up to new customers. Additionally, merchants will have access to a full suite of services related to business and customer logistics. The Monarch Application will host its own exchange as a means to transfer funds between cryptocurrencies listed on the Monarch Hot Wallet.

Monarch ExchangeMonarch Exchange will allow merchants and consumers to exchange cryptocurrencies on an internal platform, with minimal effort. A 0.2% fee will be charged for the recipient of each transaction, but users can use Monarch Utility Tokens for a 50% discount on trading fees, similar to Binance’s BNB tokens. Thus, the fees are reduced to 0.1% when paying with Monarch Utility Tokens (MT).

As regulatory guidelines permit, we plan to integrate fiat support into the Monarch Exchange. Users will be able to easily trade cryptocurrencies and traditional fiat (for both buying and selling).

Payment ManagementMonarch payment management will completely revolutionize payments for multiple industries. Notably, our unique subscription/payment plan structure will impact a variety of industries. Not only will the Monarch ecosystem support peer-to-peer transactions but also business-to-consumer payments. Industries that require recurring payments include:

• Payroll• Rent/Mortgage• Utilities• Video services (HBO, Netflix, YouTube Red, CBS all Access)• Music services (Apple Music, Spotify)• Newsletter (Forbes, Bloomberg, CNBC)• Donation (Patreon)

Recurring Payment - Monarch will be able to handle recurring payments for both fiat and cryptocurrency payments in a patent pending platform. Monarch will utilize off-chain solutions to allow users to schedule payments between two or more parties.

Instant Transactions - Unlike traditional and legacy type payment systems, Monarch is able to process transactions instantaneously.

Cryptocurrency Compatible - At launch, Monarch will be able to support a number of cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other ERC20 tokens, with intentions of accepting all large market tokens as well. This benefits both the buyer and seller as new payment options are available to both parties.

Low Exchange Fees - To offer both buyers and sellers the best exchange rates, Monarch will connect to multiple cryptocurrency exchange providers. Monarch will take advantage of exchange arbitrage opportunities, combined with our analytics engine, to ensure the best possible exchange rates.

Monarch Exchange - As volume and usage of the platform increases, Monarch will use funds to build a fully functioning peer-to-peer exchange. Utilizing their hot wallets, users will be able to trade for other cryptocurrencies and back to fiat from the Monarch platform.

Low Seller Fees - To stay competitive with other payment processors, Monarch will charge merchants 2% on received payments. As volume of the network increases, Monarch will decrease this fee to remain competitive. Interacting on a global scale, processing billions of dollars a day should allow Monarch to decrease this fee with no effect.

Subscription Management - As one of the major pillars of Monarch, users will be able to manage all of their subscriptions and recurring payments from one place. Starting or canceling a service should be simple. With Monarch, it should be as simple as a swipe of the screen.

Hot & Cold Wallets - Each user will have a cold wallet to which they will own the private keys. This will enable them to take advantage of all hard-forks and participation in Ethereum-based tokens, while also maximizing security. Hot wallets will enable users to set recurring payments and pay for subscription based products or services.

Accepts FIAT - Monarch will support FIAT currencies by leveraging and connecting to external exchanges. As liquidity and usage in our network increases, Monarch will develop its own internal exchange.

Easy Registration - Users will be able to take advantage of our easy registration process to sign up for new services. Registration for multiple services is repetitive and time consuming. Monarch will allow users to quickly register for external new services by only requesting permission to the data points required by the vendors.

Merchant Plugins - Monarch will develop a plug-in for easy integration to existing websites and platforms. This will allow consumers to pay with Monarch instead of traditional payment options, such as credit cards and PayPal. It will also allow merchants to accept alternative types of currency.

Summary of Features

Page 22: WHITEPAPER3rd party exchanges (Binance, Bittrex, Coinbase, etc.) so that users can trade from all across all exchanges on one platform from one user-friendly application. Furthermore,

Interface for Finances - A user interface will be built that allows users to keep track of their finances and analyze their spending habits. Users will be able to create budgets, receive alerts, track their investments, and keep track of their bills. All in one place.

Tax Reconcile Forms - Immutable ledgers make it easy to keep track of accounting. Monarch will create exportable reports to automate the process of documenting taxes and performing real time audits.

Use Name or Email to Send Funds - New users find it difficult to send transactions to alphanumeric addresses. The Monarch Hot Wallet will have an optional Username feature so that users can quickly search and identify each other using a username. A simple username allows users to search for each other and add new contacts to their friends list. The Monarch Platform implements a social feature that allows users to add other users for quick remediation or payment to each other.

Silver Backing - 10% of the funds that are raised from the initial Token Generation will be allocated to the direct purchasing of silver assets. Additionally, 10% of every merchant transaction fee on the Monarch Hot Wallet will be apportioned to silver assets to continuously increase the funding for additional silver backing. Silver backing will help combat the volatility of a standard digital asset, ensuring that the digital asset is backed by a tangible and valuable asset. The Monarch Security Token represents a more stable investment compared to most other cryptocurrencies.

Dividend Structure - 50% of all merchant transaction fees from the Monarch Hot Wallet will be distributed proportionally to all Monarch Security Token (MTS) Holders. Once a week, 50% of all merchant transactions fees collected will be used to buy back the Monarch Utility Token (MT) and be distributed amongst Monarch Security Token Holders.

Password Vault - The Monarch Password Vault will store passwords locally and securely.

Portfolio Management - Track your portfolio, whether it be on the Monarch Cold and Hot wallet or 3rd party exchanges via API connection.

Liquidity Pool - Purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies at the best possible prices. Monarch will allocate 50% of the $105,000,000 token sale to an interest bearing account that will be used as liquidity to purchase and sell cryptocurrencies on the users’ behalf.

Use of Funds

• Development - After the fundraising period, the development of the Monarch platform will be the largest priority. This will include obtaining additional developers, the purchase of technical resources, and implementation on the Monarch platform.

• Marketing - Developing partnerships with merchants to increase adoption of the Monarch platform, while creating marketing campaigns to reach larger audience and acquire users.

• Operations - These funds will be used to cover operational expenses of building the platform such as renting office space, paying salaries, and other business related expenses.

• Research & Development - R&D will be vital to the success of our business as the cryptocurrency market is an ever evolving and dynamic market. Research will be a cornerstone of Monarch, allowing us to be at the forefront of developing innovations. Monarch will keep all options open as platforms like Cardano, NEO, Ontology, Zilliqa and EOS evolve. Lightning Network, sharding, and rootstock are also options that may help scale existing blockchains, which are all great options we will explore going forward. If our customers’ needs cannot be met by one of the above options, we may elect to create our own blockchain.

• Silver Backing - 10% of proceeds raised during the token generation event will go towards the direct purchase of silver. This silver will be stored in one or more vaults and audited by Scottsdale Mint so that the backing of the Monarch Security Token is verified and confirmed.

• Legal - Establishing compliance with ongoing regulatory framework and completing all legal obligations.

• Exchange Fund - Monarch will keep 50% of funds raised in the token generation event as an exchange fund. Exchange funds will be stored in an interest bearing account used to fund user transactions, offering liquidity on users’ behalf. Example: User will be able to buy crypto assets from Monarch partnered exchanges. Monarch pays for assets on the user’s behalf, holds the asset, deducts funds from the user, then transfers the asset to the user’s wallet. In using the Monarch Platform the user has access to all Monarch partnered exchanges to buy numerous crypto assets.

Transaction Data

• Peer to Peer - Peer-to-peer transactions are free on the Monarch Hot Wallet.

• Consumer to Merchant - Monarch platform will charge a 2% transaction fee on all consumer-to-merchant transactions in the Monarch network. Transaction fees in the Monarch system will be carefully allocated to allow Monarch to function as a company even after Token Generation funds are exhausted.

• Admin & Development - The transaction fee will play an important role in allowing Monarch to function as a company post-Token Generation by dedicating 40% of the Transaction Fee Revenues to admin and development. This money will be used to further develop the platform and pay staff.

• Dividend Payout - To further expand adoption and increase usage on the platform, Monarch will have a dividend payout system for Monarch Security Token (MTS) holders. 50% of the merchant transaction fee revenues will be allocated to this dividend. Users will receive dividend payouts each week for the previous week’s network transactions cryptocurrencies and will be directly proportional to the amount of MTS being held on the platform that week. Example: You hold 1,000 of the 100,000 MTS (1%). If 30,000 BTC are traded this week on the Monarch platform and a 2% fee is applied to each transaction, then 600 BTC will be collected. 50% of this (300 BTC) will be allocated to the weekly dividend. Since you own 1% of the Monarch being staked on the platform, you will receive a payout of 3 BTC. Monarch will buy 3 BTC worth Monarch Token (MT) from the Monarch Exchange and distribute them to your wallet.

• Silver Backing - 10% of the funds raised from the token generation event will be allocated to the direct purchasing of silver assets. Additionally, 10% of the transaction fee revenues on the Monarch Hot Wallet will be apportioned to silver assets, thus continuously increasing the funding for additional silver backing. Silver backing will help combat the standard volatility of digital assets, ensuring that these are backed by a tangible asset.

Monarch Security Token vs. Monarch Utility Token

In the current regulatory environment, it’s more important than ever to distinguish between security and utility tokens. If a token derives its value from an external/tradeable asset, it is classified as a security token. Utility tokens, also called User Tokens, represent future access to a company’s product or service. [9]

Because of its complex ecosystem, Monarch and its users all benefit from having a two-token system. The Monarch Security Token (MTS) will be backed by silver assets, therefore classifying it as a security. Just as Binance created BNB Tokens for a 50% discount on its exchange fees, Monarch Utility Token (MT) offers a similar mechanism to its users.

Monarch Security Token (MTS) - Total Supply 500 Million Tokens• 50% dividends distributed to MTS Holders via Monarch’s hot wallet• 10% of Token Generation Funds raised will be used to buy silver assets• 10% of consumer-to-merchant transaction fees will continuously be used to purchase silver until every

security token is backed by 1 oz of silver • 1-to-1 airdrop of Monarch Utility Tokens (MT) post-Token Generation Event• 500 million Utility Tokens will be airdropped in a 1-to-1 ratio to MTS Holders• Limited to Accredited Investors Only

Monarch Utility Token (MT) - Total Supply 1 Billion Tokens• 50% discount on Monarch Exchange trading fees• 50% discount on consumer-to-merchant transaction fees • Medium for MTS dividend distribution

The Monarch Hot Wallet allows users to transact instantly and enables them to send recurring payments inside the Monarch ecosystem. The Monarch hot wallet also integrates with Merchant plug-ins for content management systems like WordPress and Wix.

50% of all Monarch Hot Wallet transaction fees will be distributed to MTS holders in the form of Monarch Utility Tokens (MT). All coins that are listed in the Monarch Hot Wallet will have a pairing on the Monarch Exchange. (for example: BTC/MT and ETH/MT will be listed on the Monarch Exchange).

Once a week, 50% of all transactions fees will be exchanged for Monarch Utility Tokens (MT) inside the Monarch Exchange and distributed proportionally to all holders of Monarch Security Token (MTS).

Example: If 1000 BTC was transacted in the Monarch Hot Wallet ecosystem in the last week at a fee of 2%, then there will be 20 BTC in total transaction fees. 50% of the total transactions of 20 BTC will be distributed among MTS Holders. The 10 Bitcoin collected from the transactions fees will be used to buy Monarch Utility Tokens in the Monarch Exchange and then distributed among MTS Holders. Additionally, 10% of the 20 BTC collected as transaction fees will be used to buy silver as an asset backing behind the Monarch Security Token. This leaves 40% of the transactions fees to promote development for Monarch.

The Monarch Dividend Structure will promote usage and growth inside the ecosystem. Transacting Monarch Utility Tokens (MT) inside the Hot Wallet infrastructure will give users a 50% discount on transaction fees when used with merchants and completely free when transacted peer-to-peer.

In the Monarch ecosystem there are multiple features that give Monarch an advantage over it’s competitors. The core development team and the long list of expert advisors are among the top minds in decentralized application and blockchain development. The Monarch team and advisors will prove necessary when tackling the groundbreaking patent-pending solution that separates Monarch Token from the pack. The Monarch Hot Wallet enables users to utilize a decentralized recurring payment feature that completely changes everything. These cutting edge solutions require teams of code auditors and considerable development resources to see the decentralized recurring payment solution cross the finish line.

Monarch has been in development since late 2017. Feasibility and market studies are breaking ground on what legal and market requirements are needed to implement the Monarch application. Since then, over 15,000 hours have been put into the Monarch infrastructure to build out the Legal and Corporate structure, with the MVP to be released before the token sale.

Monarch currently has a staff of 5 full-time decentralized application and blockchain developers along with 6 designers and quality assurance leads that are all well-versed experts in the space. This all leads to a current target of about 35,000 man hours in order to completely develop, design, audit, test, and garner feedback for the Monarch platform. It doesn’t stop there. Once the framework of the Monarch Ecosystem is built, the staff will transition into upgrading the platform and integrating it with various merchant needs.

Monarch has also built a full staff of user and investor relations management staff. 6 full-time community managers are assigned to handle all user and investor inquiries and technical support queries across all social media platforms. The community managers also help with the go-to-market strategy of merchant and user acquisition in order to make Monarch a leading payment and investor exchange gateway. As the platform grows, more and more community management experts will be added to the team to ensure user satisfaction.

This leads us to our final piece of the puzzle: legal and regulatory compliance. Monarch has staffed multiple leading security and tax attorneys in order to ensure we comply with security regulations and money transmitter laws. Monarch also utilizes multiple intellectual property and patent lawyers to ensure our patent pending technology of decentralized recurring payment is protected. As a “tech first” company, Monarch puts a heavy emphasis on research and development of blockchain technologies. As the blockchain space evolves and new standardized practices are formed, Monarch will lead the charge when it comes to compliance and new technological advancement.

Current solutions for cryptocurrency payments and remittances require companies to take full custody of a user’s funds. This completely negates the necessity of cryptocurrency which is associated with decentralization and empowering the user. Decentralized recurring payments are utilized by a new patent pending method called MultiSignature Leasing. MultiSignature Leasing allows users of the Monarch ecosystem to send funds based on parameters/conditions that are met. Users essentially set conditions on when to send out a transaction via 3 parameters: frequency, recipient, and amount. When all 3 conditions are met, the user’s private key is essentially leased for a single generated transaction to the Monarch network, where funds are transferred out of the user’s wallet.

The Journey Forward

Page 30: WHITEPAPER3rd party exchanges (Binance, Bittrex, Coinbase, etc.) so that users can trade from all across all exchanges on one platform from one user-friendly application. Furthermore,

This is all possible by the utilization of an open source authentication layer, which encrypts metadata into the transaction hash. This allows the Monarch platform to send payments in a decentralized manner while maintaining the integrity of users funds. This feature allows Monarch application users to pay bills on a recurring basis. Monarch is able to handle rent, IRA/401k, mortgages, utilities, spotify, netflix or any other subscription based service. Monarch will then be able to take crypto payments and pay merchants via fiat. Users don’t have to give up custody of their funds and rely on company security to protect their funds from hacks/leaks. Since they are in control of their own funds, users have the ability to turn off any service with the press of a button.

This brings us to our second feature that requires significant development resources. Monarch will not only host its own exchange but also integrate with 3rd party partnered exchanges. This allows Monarch users to purchase cryptocurrency across a number of partnered exchanges. The Monarch exchange platform is made possible by the utilization of institutional accounts on partnered exchanges and calling on specific APIs in order to settle payments across a number of exchanges. This allows the cryptocurrency prices to finally equate cryptocurrency across borders and serve as an arbitrage platform to find the best prices possible. Monarch plans to solve the bigger issue of price discrepancy with Bitcoin between countries, particularly when it is perceived to be a “Global” currency.

Monarch is currently built off the Ethereum platform as an ERC-20 Token. In the recent past, Ethereum has had major scaling issues with long transaction turnaround times. Crypto Kitties has infamously brought Ethereum to a standstill. With all the looming issues of Ethereum‘s scaling, Monarch plans to build an alternative viable solution to meet its transactional volume. As other blockchain platforms like EOS, Cardano, HashGraph, Ontology and Zilliqa come to fruition, Monarch plans to build its own proprietary blockchain, which will be further outlined in the the Monarch Yellow Paper. Monarch plans to be on the forefront of new blockchain technological advancements, allowing other decentralized applications (dApps) to be built on its proprietary blockchain. Whether it be scalability, reliability, cross chain operability, or privacy features, Monarch’s vision is to provide a secure and stable medium for transactions.
