• The Animal Service Center (ASC) is the only shelter in Leon County. If you spot something you believe is cruelty or neglect, please contact the ASC.

• Clean water should be provided at all times. • Dog food is for dogs. Cat food is for cats. People food

is for people.• Exercise your pet and give him/her attention.• If your dog stays outside he/she needs a dog house.

• Both have similar symptoms• Both must be treated using

• You must seek veterinary care when needed.

• Heartworms are spread by mosquitos and are 100% preventable.

• There are two common types of mange.

• There are a variety of parasitic worms that can live in your pet’s intestines and can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and weight loss.

• Know your pet’s grooming requirements.
