Who we are

Apprenticeships combine on-the-job paid training with classroom study leading to a nationally recognised qualification.

Apprenticeships are open to everyone aged 16 and over, from school leavers to those seeking a career change. Apprenticeships can take from one to four years to complete, depending on the industry and the apprentice’s ability.

Apprentices will earn at least the National Minimum Wage, but many employers increase wages as apprentices’ skills develop.

OUR APPRENTICESHIPS COMBINE:

A qualification that assesses competence in work situations

A knowledge qualification that demonstrates an appropriate level of understanding about the area of work

In some cases, a combined qualification, which tests both competence and knowledge
