Meeting of the Pilgrims for the Closing Week-Endof the Wold Youth Day in Marienfeld, August 20-21th

Waiting prayerfully for the Vigil...

... or for a time of rest!

The tidy place of the Missionaries of Charity!

At the arrival of the Holy Father, at nightfall, outburst of joy!BE-NE-DE-TTO! Is the main slogan of the moment!

On Sunday morning after a night sleeping in the open air in the coldness and humidity... So what? Happy to be here, Sister?

The Sisters waiting expectantly for Holy Father at the closing mass of the World Youth Day

We draw nearer to the security barriers... the atmosphere is rising... does the Pope arrive?

He is there!

VIVA EL PAPA !

Monday August 22nd

The bell named John Paul II which was blessed at the vigil in Marienfeld by the Pope, arrives in St Apostln where it will stay.

The parishioners and the Missionaries of Charity are joined together around the Parish Priest to welcome it.

The active Brothers and their postulants, all present in Köln for this World Youth Day, got the opportunity to take a nice picture of the community.

At the sight of the Brothers and Sisters (envious?), the children will enjoy themselves to the full to ring the bell before its setting up!

Children won’t be alone to ring the great bell!!!

On the feast of Mary, Queen of heaven, all the Missionaries of Charity gave thanks for these days spent with the young people of the whole world!
