HOW CAN I RECYCLE MORE?WHY RECYCLE?
Because it’s the right thing to do!By recycling, used materials are converted into new
usable products saving energy, natural resources and
space in our landfills.
Because we have to! In 2015, Metro Vancouver is banning all food scraps
and organic material from the garbage. Plus, disposal
costs for garbage are increasing and are going to
continue to do so. Is your building prepared?
If you are unsure where your recycling bins are
located please ask your neighbours or your property
manager.
To recycle batteries, lightbulbs, ink cartridges, paint and MUCH more use:

There are lots ways you can get involved:
Learn what can be recycled (read this brochure and
the sign in your recycling room).
Talk to your neighbours and share your waste
reduction and recycling successes (and failures!).
Become a Recycling Champion for your building to
inspire your neighbours and help them to recycle
more. Contact your Building Supervisor to find out
details and to sign up.
Separate your recyclable and compostable materials
in your home.
Put material in the marked bins.
