Lenovo ThinkBook Positioning Battlecard
WHY THINKBOOK WAS CREATEDThe use of consumerized devices in the workplace is on the rise, as younger workers seek stylish, trendy devices
to balance their work and personal lives. Yet, these consumerized devices aren’t configured for business use or
architected to safeguard data, applications, and credentials. Today’s workers want — and need — mobile PCs that
blend the style and features of consumer devices with security and configuration to power business workflows.
ThinkBook is built for business and designed for a new workforce. It delivers the best of stylish, consumerized
design, yet is configured with tools for collaboration, productivity, and security — and it’s purpose-built for today’s
always-connected, modern work environments.

USE CASES
Workforce Transformation
Younger, in-demand employees show a preference for working at businesses that provide them with
the tools they desire to get their jobs done. This includes their desire for stylish devices that keep
them connected to their lives. ThinkBook delivers the best of enterprise function, with a consumerized
aesthetic.
Enterprise Productivity
Business users need advanced processing and device durability to ensure reliable use. ThinkBook is
configured with Intel® Core™ processors and SSD storage to support fast-paced workflows and modern
applications. It’s tested to meet MIL-SPEC durability to ensure reliable use on the road or in the field.
Security
Allowing personal devices to connect to enterprise networks is a security risk. Malware or other issues on
an employee device can spread through the enterprise, putting applications and data at risk. ThinkBook
offers easy security features, like fingerprint readers, camera shutter security, and HW TPM 2.0 encryption,
to safeguard identities, devices, and data from malware or breaches.
