Wiese Viper sweep

All Wiese Viper sweeps are 7.5mm thick (.296”) heat-treated steel. The thicker material and long nose provide superior wear compared to conventional 6mm (.250") thick sweeps. Fas-Tach

McKay Empire Slimwedge™ to fit Field Cultivators

McKay Empire Slimwedge sweeps provide a wide variety of sweep and opener options along with a quick change-over method. Bolt the clip and spring onto the field cultivator shank and then drive on the sweep until the spring pops through the mounting hole. Chisel plow/wheatland sweeps are designed to be used on chisel plows in place of chisel spikes for more soil shattering action and wider cut between the shanks. Dart sweeps have a needle point nose to maintain a sharp point throughout the life of the sweep. Flange sweeps have a flattened wing that reduces soil boiling and blowout and increases the strength. Parallel wing sweeps main-tain the same cutting width throughout the life of the sweep. Some models incorporate multiple features to allow you to choose the perfect sweep for conditions. The patented design of the Penetrator sweep features 70% of the cutting edge inclined to a 30° angle. Precision double-bevel edge disc blades

Wiese disc blades are manufactured using a high-quality alloy containing a small amount of boron. The boron alloy allows the blade to flex when striking an obstruction and return to its original shape, greatly reducing breakage or bending. Our press-formed, double-bevel edge is designed to self-sharp-en as the disc wears, eliminating the need to roll or sharpen the blades. Diameter and thickness are specifiedinthetablebelow.PleaserefertothecenterholetableonpageXXtocompletethepartnum-ber. Simply add the desired center hole suffix to the part number to specify the arbor hole dimension. Sharpening or rolling standard Wiese disc blades will void the warranty. Wiese stocks a wide variety of configurations and sizes. Special center hole configurations or sizes are also available. Understanding coulter blade part numbersThe Wiese part number system is explained by simply using the first one or two letters to denote the desired edge type (plain, notched, wavy, fluted). The next two characters denote the diameter(16”, 17”, 18”). The next three characters denote the thickness in inches (.138”, .157”). The last set of letters indicate the center hole configuration (AC-Allis Chalmers, B-Brillion). See table for further explanation.

Center hole patternsThe majority of coulters are bolted on to a hub individually for each tillage unit. The following are hole patterns for some of the more popular hubs. Refer to your owner's manual for new coulter diameter and thickness recommendations.Center hole refers to the diameter of the hole that fits around the shaft. This dimension is typically 1/16"largerthantheactualshaftsizetopreventrubbing.Bolt circle refers to the diameter of a scribed circle through the centers of the bolt holes. Do not simply measure the distance from one bolt hole to another across the center hole. This can lead to an incor-rect fit of the new coulter.Bolt holes refers to the quantity and diameter of the holes that the bolts fit through. The first number is the number of bolt holes. The second number is the diamter of the bolt hole. This dimension is typically 1/32"largerthanthebolttobeused.

Plow parts

Wiese plow parts, including shares, shins, moldboards, landsides and trashboards, are manufac-tured using high-carbon, heat-treated steel. The LW series plowshares are upset forged, making the nose section of the plowshare resistant to breakage and wear. Most LW shares are also available with hardfacing on the tip and blade. Rib plow shares have a raised bevel running horizontally for added strength and wear. Plow parts are listed below according to make and bottom series. Please remember when replacing one part on a plow, it may be necessary to loosen other parts to allow for wear. For example, when replacing the shin it may be necessary to loosen the moldboard and the share to allow the new part to fit. Then simply tighten other parts when proper alignment is achieved. Sold in vendor packs of 6 each and packed with nuts and bolts unless otherwise specified. Rib shares do not include nuts and bolts. Some discontinued and custom plow parts may be available. Minimum order quantities and extended lead times will apply.

Transportation, Warranty and Terms of Sale

Transportation Transportation of Wiese products will be F.O.B. Perry, Iowa on all items. Unless otherwise requested, all shipments will be prepaid by Wiese and freight charges will be added to the invoice.

If you prefer to arrange your own shipping, our products all ship class 60. The NMFC number is 011170-01. The description is Ag Parts-Iron. Once you have arranged for a freight company to pick up your order, the Bill of Lading and shipping label can be faxed to 515-465-9858 or e-mailed to your customer service representative.

During peak shipping seasons, please allow additional time due to heavy warehouse activity and increased shipping loads.

UPS and Spee-Dee orders received prior to 2:00 PM will be shipped by 2:00 PM the following day. Next-day air orders must be received no later than 10:00 AM to be shipped the same day. A $3.00 handling fee will be applied to each package shipped. Shipping is subject to available stock on hand.

Will-call pick-ups are available when specified at the time of order. The Wiese warehouse is located at 1561 3rd Street in Perry, Iowa. Warehouse hours for customer pick-up are Monday through Friday, 8:00 until 3:30 PM. Please notify customer service prior to arrival.

Terms of sale

All sales are considered final upon receipt and payment for product. Return of any merchandise is totally at the discretion of Wiese Industries. Merchandise returned without a valid Return Authorization will NOT be accepted under any conditions.

Requests for a Return Authorization must meet the following conditions:

The return request must be made within 12 months following the invoice date.

Items must be of current design or style.

Customer must be under the ownership or management as sold to originally.

Items must be deemed non-sellable in the area.

All items will only be accepted in the original vendor units (carton of 6, bundle of 10 and so on).

A 15% restocking fee will apply.

Customers are responsible for freight on all returns.

No cash settlements will be issued.

Settlement of returned merchandise will be in the form of a credit issued toward future purchases.

The settlement amount is based upon the prices in effect at the time of purchase less any programs, trade discounts and restocking fees.

WarrantyWiese Industries warrants products to be free from defects in material and workmanship if the products are used under normal circumstances and for their intended use. Products are also warranted to fit the implements for which they are designed and in connection with which they are intended to be used.Thisexpressedwarrantyshall,however,beeffectiveonlysolongaslessthan1/2inchofwearexists on the cutting edge of the product.

Disc and coulter blade warranty shall consist of:1/2inchwearoftheedgeonallbending,straightlinebreaksorcracks.Centerholebreakageand variegated breaks from edge will not be covered. Disc blades that have been altered by sharpening, rolling, drilling or hard-facing will not be covered.

Any product which is defective in material or workmanship will be replaced free of charge. All items claimed to be defective must be returned to or inspected by the manufacturer. This warranty does not extend to any item which has been changed or modified by anyone other than the manufacturer.

The express warranty descRibed herein, shall be in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied including but not limited to any implied warrant of merchantability for fitness for any particular purpose.

Oral statements about our products do not constitute warranties, shall not be relied upon by the buyer and are not part of this warranty. The entire warranty is embodied in this writing. This writing consti-tutes the final expression of the manufacturer warranty and is a complete and exclusive statement of the terms of that warranty.

Thepartiesagreethatthepurchasers’soleandexclusiveremedyforanydefectintheproductsshallbe for the repair or replacement of the product, or any part thereof pursuant to the terms of the express written warranty set forth herein. The purchaser agrees that no other remedy (including but not limited to incidental or consequential damages for lost profits, lost sales, injury to personal property, or any other incidental or consequential loss) shall be available to the purchaser.

Customer will be responsible for freight on returned merchandise until such merchandise is deemed defective. Freight charges will be credited on merchandise determined to be defective.
