WHAT IS THE BATTLE OF THE BOOKS? Battle of the Books is a book-based trivia tournament for Westchester youth grades 4-9. Eastchester library will have a 4-6 team and a 6-9 team. The teams will compete by answering trivia questions based on the 5 books for their age bracket (on this page) in October. Teams will meet many times between now & the Battle in October to practice for the big day! WHO CAN BE ON THE BATTLE OF THE BOOKS TEAM? Anyone entering grades 4-9 in September 2015 At the battle each team may have 3-5 participants per round. WHY PARTICIPATE IN BATTLE OF THE BOOKS? The winning teams libraries will get trophies to display for a year until the next battle. The top 3 teams will get prizes & everyone get a team t-shirt, & a certificate! WHEN IS THE BATTLE?
