Wild CardBy Cole McCarthy

Let me start off by saying thank you for the invitiation to this won-derful celebration of your marriage. I know my mom and I have been look-ing forward to this for quite sometime. Actually since I’ve learned of the wedding, I have been really looking forward to seeing it. Not sure if you know this, but next year I’ll be a part of my school’s Yearbook Staff. I plan to be the senior editor by my senior year if they al-low me. I’m trying to get as much expierence as I can before then. So I had this idea to desgin this magazine while I was here this weekend. I tried to capture as much as the atmosphere as I could while I was here and as many emotions in all the photos as I could. I got the idea of the title “Wild Card” because you guys to me are the two Wild Cards I know. Lissett, you are a teacher that just keeps go-ing, but around the corner you love to have a good time and have an amazing amount of patients! Eric, you are a buisnessman to the max, making deals left and right. You love to have a good time, probably more so then working, but come on who doesn’t?! I think you both equal each other out very well. So that’s where the title comes from. I took every photo inside this, along with writing each mini-story.If you want any photos printed or sent to you just let me know, my infor-matino is below. I love doing this, I hope you guys love it as much as I loved being able to come spend the weekend here enjoying your beautiful celebration! You both are stunning and brilliant people, I wish the newlyweds the best of your years to come!

Love you guys!

Our large group of 25 gathered at A&B Lob-ster House for a delightful meal. Once the meal was over, the game of the evening was to see who paid the bill, of course it was a challenging game where Eric got to see the bill first and set a limit on what the amount was and what it wasn’t.

It started between $0 and $2,000. Then slowly, guess by guess, narrowing itself down to see who could guess the bill correctly. The nerve raking task of maybe getting the bill amount correct scared most into incorrectly guessing.

In the end though, everyone paid their own dues and the game was just for fun. No one had a hard time with this game. But after was the more fun, when everyone went out for a night on the town.

They hit all the usual spots, enjoying themselves. All around, the evening was a success to all.

The Main Attraction

What are we all here for?! Oh duh, the Wedding!

We have all gathered here today for the marriage of Eric and Lissett Brown. The magnif-icent couple, finally a married one. It’s an amaz-ing sight to see these two characters together for the rest of their lives. Hopefully, they will have many years of a happy marriage to come!

Everyone that has come to support this lovely couple has had an amazing weekend be-cause of it, I know my mother & I have! We are so excited to be apart of both of your lives for years to come!

Hopefully you didn’t spend too much on that photographer. But for future reference, I’m around & love taking photos, along with design-ing them into a book/magazine as I have done this past weekend for you both.

A Beautiful day in Paradise While some stayed back at the hotel to enjoy the grounds of the island, other went across the water to the mini island to enjoy the sun and the beach. To get to this secluded island of fun, there is a ferry that takes people over every 15 minutes. Once there, you receive an umbrella and a beach attendant to get you every-thing you may need while staying for the day.

Also on the island is a pool that is just soaked by the sun throughout the day. Although there was a horrible amount of rain during our stay for about an hour on both islands, the sun eventually came out and it was back to be-ing hot and humid. But of course, what could you expect for Florida?

Around the main islands there is a ton to do for all! There are random freak shows all around the island. Along with art pieces for sale and seeing the artists paint them. There are tons of little nick-knacks for sale too! You could find a ton of people dressed up like pirates or other interest-ing costumes, that just adds to the characteristics of the island.

Everyone got treated to a delightful meal at Bagatelle. Getting to see the couple and hang out with them was everyone pleasure. We were entertained by Eric’s throwing of fries anxiously waiting the delivery of the food. In addition to Dora bringing two delectable bottles of wine for whomever decided they wanted some. Which raised some inspiring conversations about collecting wine. Raise your glass to Eric and Lis-sett! Congrats!

We got to have the 2nd floor of this delec-table resturaunt to ourselves being such a large party. Making the place light up with flashes and laughs throughout the evening. Making memories left and right!

Along with memories, the talk of the evening was about how elegant and magnicificant Lissett’s dress was the day before. It was absolutley stun-ning.

Street with the Loonies

Welcome to Duval St. where everything happens. Down to the partying, shopping, dinners, breakfasts, and everything else you can think of. This is where everyone bonded, had an amazing time as well!

Along with the fun places you can visit and have an interesting time at on the street, as long as you keep an eye out, you can also cap-ture and see some very interesting people.

There are characters all over the place! There are pirates, women as men, vise versa, palm readers and people who look like they can kill you with just a look. In the evenings, Duval St. is a very intense place with a ton of people not knowing what they are doing. Simply walking around in the evenings is a show!

You could really find some interesting and good talent among the streets from the homeless or just street performers! Drummers, singers, fighters, comedians, and many more! A few of many sights to see!

So in case you guys may have missed some of these sights, these are the things we got to see after we had dinner!

The group of us got to go and have our palms read by the Palm Reader! You guys should have been there for the experience! it was an amazing time and was an amazing feeling getting your palm read. Even if you don’t believe in that kind of thing it was still a fun thing to go experience!

We also went and enjoyed ice cream on the island that was to die for. We saw titlating street performers and just homeless people perform, along with a few that just played to play. I believe they were actually more talented then the other paid people we see on tv these days, es-pecially because these people actually have real emotions and real feeling in their music. Tons of people we see these days on tv or just that are famous are just not that enter-taining and they are all lies. On this island, you see what you get! This was an awesome time to end the trip! Getting to have dinner with the couple and then getting to and truly experience Duval St.

Past, Present & Future.
