PROPOSAL TO TEACH

SHELL SUN CATCHER 2 HRS $30.00 ALL LEVELS
Students will learn the wheat stitch in coiling around a multi-shell center to
create a sun catcher. Embellish with beads and hanger. Comes with two shell
centers and at least one will be finished in class. Sharp scissors are needed.
COVERED GOURD 4 HRS $35.00
Students will learn to coil around the top edge of a gourd and then make a
fitted lid for the gourd by coiling around a shell or stone set in resin. Choice of
colors. Bring small sharp scissors.

WAVE GOURD 8 HOURS $55.00
Knotiess netting will be taught in a wave pattern on the outside of the gourd
randomly adding beads during the process. Then students will coil pine needles
using wheat and wrapped stitches; making floating coils and twisting coils
around the edge of the gourd. Knotiess netting will be added to the opening and
lastly, the student will learn how to overlay a contrasting color of pine needles to
form a dramatic rim.
SIDE CUT BEADED GOURD 6 HOURS S40
Learn the diamond stitch while pine needle coiling on a uniquely cut gourd and addingbeads as you go. End by embellishing with additional beads and adding base. Each "gourd is cut differently so no two projects will look alike.

Jewelry Box 4 hrs. $40.00
The primary focus of this class is to teach how to make a fitted lid with coiled long leaf
pine needles. The resin start used for the lid has seashells imbedded in it and the pine
needles will be coiled around this start and wood base bottom using the wheat stitch.
The box bottom height can be varied according to the length of time the student wants
to work on it. Bring small sharp scissors.
Geode Pine Needle Dish 4 hrs. $35.00
Coil around your choice of geode color and create this lovely pine needle basket. Wheat,
wrapped and faggoting stitches will be taught as well as how to form sides on the
basket. Bead embellishment is added at end.

Fairy House 4 hrs $35.00
This coiled project will teach the student how to start a pine needle project on a small
ring, shape sides and work with pine needles with their sheaths still on. A little gourd
top is provided for the top of the fairy house as well as a copper stand.
4 SHELL PINE NEEDLE DISH 6 hrs $40.00
Three basic stitches to be taught in this class will be the whipstitch, wrap stitch and
wheat stitch. Students will learn to start their Pine Needle Dish on a flat sliced shell
adding a total of four (4) shells to form the base of the dish. The student will also learn
how to form the sides of the dish to complete the project.

GOURD & PINE NEEDLE BOWL 4 hrs. $35.00
The wheat stitch and wrapped stitch will be taught when applying pine needles to your
gourd. Floating and twisted coils will add extra dimension and walnut slice, or beads will
embellish this beauty.
PINE NEEDLE COASTER SET 4 hrs. $35.00
Make this pretty set of coasters for a gift to your best friend or to keep for yourself.
Students will learn four (4) basic stitches for pine needle coiling using multi-colored pine
needles and sinew. They will complete at least one coaster in class and learn to cover
the center rings for the other three coasters. Instructions include four design patterns
using the stitches taught.

Knotless Netting Gourd with Pine Needle Rim 6 hrs $55.00
Each student will learn the technique of knotless netting applied to a gourd. The gourd
is color blocked and students will complete three sections with netting. They will then
trim the gourd in pine needle coiling and embellish with philodendron sheath and stone
or bead. Small sharp scissors needed.
Pin Wheel Teneriffe Gourd with Pine Needle Rim
Students will learn to weave a Teneriffe design on the side of a gourd. They will also
learn how to create a single coiling around the top of the gourd with the pine needle
caps left on. Choice of colors will be provided as well as small beads for embellishment.
Bring small sharp scissors.
